Luke and Shiro were cleaning up the dishes when the rangers' squad leader approached them. "I'm sorry to interrupt you guys, but we have a problem." He brought them outside and pointed down to a road around half a mile away. The Himontagon hills overlooked the roads leading to it, and what they saw was a black moving mass moving slowly towards them. A giant led the front of the crowd, walking towards them.

Noticing the change in atmosphere, everyone gathered to look at the moving mass.

"Fuck bro... you think we can survive that mess?" Jay Arr whistled. The soldiers looked at the growing mass calmly.

"There's WAS more than one." The soldier said. "And it's managed to muster an even larger amount of draugrs than the last one."

"More than one?" Luke asked, confused. "What do you mean?"

"Them." The soldier pointed at the dazed women huddled in the house. "We rescued those women from one of those crazy giant monsters right in the center of Panglao island." He sighed. "And he was really hard to kill." He looked at the group. "And this guy was probably able to kidnap more women... because normally there's no way that they could've produced that big of a number."

He grabbed his scope and surveyed the number. He whistled to another ranger and beckoned him to give another set of binoculars to Luke. Who complied and went back to his post.

"Take a look." He said. The sun was slowly setting but there was enough light for Luke to clearly see what was happening. The creatures were not walking aimlessly, they were marching. Draugrs made up most of the front lines and they were completely naked.

"Freshly spawned Draugrs." The squad leader explained. '"They were born from the kidnapped women's wombs. They are born fast and gestate for a few weeks in egg sacks." He paused. "Regardless of how they're born, they're here for a reason," He looked at Luke "and it's probably for us." He said.

"What do we do?" Luke asked. "We don't have enough guns to fight that big of an army!"

"I'll radio in for help, while you, your friends and the rest of my team should set up traps to slow them down. One advantage you have for choosing this hill is that you can bottleneck their way up. The disadvantage is... there's no room for escape."

"Then we should probably fight to the finish." Luke said.

"Agreed. Go set up the traps and defenses. My men have c4 charges and claymore mines in their packs. I'll radio in for guns and ammo. Let's hurry Luke, those zombies look like they'll be here in two or three hours."

"Guns and ammo? You should be calling for an evacuation now! What about the helos?" Luke asked. "Aren't we priority rescues?"

"Unfortunately no. The helos are probably still doing missions somewhere else. The base only has 6 usable helicopter transports and they're servicing the entire visayas region with that. Even if they were to reroute them now, it would still take an additional 2 hours for them to get here, and that's without refueling. No, we have to stay and fight until the helicopters come, and they won't be here until 9:00 PM"

"Ugh... fine!" Luke exhaled, exasperated. He took off to help the other members of the squad set up remote mines and explosives, bringing with him Jay Arr, Ervan, Jeb and Carlos.

Klaudine and Trisha in the meantime were tasked to make as many Molotov cocktails as the possibly could. They gathered up all the bottles that they had collected before and filled them up with gasoline.

"You think we'll make it?" Shiro asked.

"Let's hope so ma'am... but in any case... these boys seem to know what they're doing. Let's just hope we'll make it to the end."
