"Hi! Welcome to Seokjin's Pretty Flowers, how can I help you today?" The florist asked with happiness and cheeriness lacing over his voice. "Hi! Uh.. I kinda wanna gift a special someone flowers for like, our first date..? What are the best flowers for a first date?" The stranger asked the said florist politely. *ೃ
"Hm.. Well tulips are one of my top 3 reccomendations because like, tulips kinda like, symbolize that you're serious to start a relationship with them!" The florist explained, continuing. "Plus, tulips are cheap and affordable unlike roses!" Then, he suddenly whispered quietly to the stranger. "I don't hold a grudge against roses, but they're expensive as hell and I don't reccomend buying them. Trust me on that, pal."
"Ah.." The customer nodded. "Okay! I'll just buy tulips then! Do you have the garden type of tulips?" The stranger asked with a light smile on his face. "Yeah, we do!"
And just like that, the customer made a complete transaction and gave Jeongguk a tip for the help and waved a goodbye to the said florist. And just like that, Jeongguk's day passed right before his eyes.
"Finally! Shift is over!" Yoongi exclaimed, taking his apron off and hanging it on the hook of the glass wall. "I can finally get sleep!" Jeongguk exclaimed back, doing the same as Yoongi did. Min Yoongi, one of his best friends and co-workers.
"Why do people even gift someone with flowers anymore? It's not like they wouldn't rot after a few days no matter how much you try to care for it," Yoongi grumbled out, rolling his eyes.
"Well.. It's kinda like- because flowers are more romantic in some way, I guess?" Jeongguk replied back, rubbing his eye because it decided to be itchy.
"Chocolates are more romantic than flowers."
"..Is that your way of saying that food is better than anything else?"
"..Well, yeah, but like- we all know I'm stating facts anyway. No shade, no tea, just facts." . *ೃ
