The two friends hanging out helped Taehyung cope with his mental health, and it was like as if Taehyung's hope for having a better life became bigger and bigger, which, for a fact, did. The happiness in his life slowly began increasing, and he was hoping as well that it would be able to be at least more than the agony he had to bare in an everyday life if you leave Jeongguk out. ೃ
"Tae?" The younger male hummed in response. "It's okay if this is too personal for you to answer, and it's alright if you don't answer it– but why can't you leave your boyfriend? Are you both like, arranged or forced to be together?" Taehyung fell silent. No noise came from him– and it wasn't like Jeongguk was going to go like, 'hey, I'm sorry. If you don't wanna answer the question, it's fine', because Jeongguk would only be lying to himself. He was practically silently yearning for Taehyung's response.
"W-well.. I.." The male licked his lips out of nervousity. He could answer any other questions, just not question regarding his boyfriend, or his relationship with him. "Uh.. I.. I'm afraid to- y'know, like- go downhill without him, like sort of fail for the rest of my life. Something like that. I kinda don't know how to explain it," he explained shortly, pursing his lips into a thin line.
He would really answer Jeongguk's question if only, he knew the answer to it. But he, himself, despite the fact that he's asked himself the same question many times– he didn't even know the answer to it himself. He's probably asked himself the same question over a hundred times already, but somehow couldn't just simply figure out the answer like an answer to any Algebra question.
"That's not true," Jeongguk muttered under his breath quietly, but not quiet enough for Taehyung to not hear. "I.. I honestly don't know the answer myself. Believe it or not, I'm stuck with the same question throughout my life."
"Well.. If you seem to not be able to leave him.." Jeongguk trailed off, continuing after so. "I'm gonna give you reasons why you should leave him." ೃ
