Summer

It was the last day of school the boys and I were stuck in detention again. The teacher glared at each one of us before leaving the classroom. This was our chance, I signalled to the boys, they looked at me confused then realised what I was saying they all nodded and got up. We made a run for the front of school. Laughing and talking we ran like there was no tomorrow. This was it, this was the start of our summer break, the best summer we would have together, little did we know this would be our last summer together.

The summer went by in a flash, the boys spent everyday laughing, talking and having an overall good time.
"Why do you always carry around that camera"? The youngest asked the oldest,
"To remind me" Jin simply replied

But-" Jungkook was cut off by Namjoon suddenly shouting;
"Who is that"?
All the boys stopped and looked at a figure approaching them.

I was walking to the spot where I spent most of my childhood. Jumping down into the old abandoned pool I noticed seven boys staring at me. I stopped and looked around. Not many things had changed, thankfully. Cautiously I walked to the group of boys, they were all still staring at me with their mouths in an O shape.
"Careful you might catch a fly" I laughed, they all went bright red and looked away clearing their throats.

"Yes, right well, who are you, and why are here"? A tall boy asked, suspicion coated his voice.  "Well, my name is Thalia, nice to meet you and you may be"?

Each one introduced themselves to me, the tall boy Namjoon, the impeccably handsome one, Seokjin, the bouncy cheerful one, Tahyung, next was Jimin although he was short he was still devilishly handsome,  Jungkook the timid shy one,  Hoseok, a ball of sunshine and lastly Yoongi the cold and reserved one.
"It's cool that we are all introduced but that doesn't explain why your here, this is our place" Jungkook said

"Oh, right, actually I was just about to say goodbye to this place" I sadly replied. Seven pairs of eyes looked at me confused.
"This place used to be my escape, when I was little" I laughed.

"So this used to be your place "? Taehyung asked. I nodded, knowing I would have to leave this place soon.

"Yes, I've lived in the country house up the path there for most of my life" I replied, they all nodded.
"Well, I gotta go" I said looking at them "bye".
They all yelled their goodbyes as I ran up the path back to my house.

. . .

As the weeks passed on the boys returned to the city in the second to last week of the holidays.  One day Seokjin was walking to meet the boys when he saw a girl she looked very familiar. As he got closer he called out her name. "Thalia"
Upon hearing her name she turned around confused, seeing Seokjin she waved and made her way towards him.
"Hi, Seokjin" She smiled
"Please, call me Jin"
"what are you doing here"? He asked  Thalia laughed and pointed at the building closest to them,
"my father and I live here".

"That's so funny, I live here as well" Jin laughed
"What apartment number"?

"123"

"Wow, I live right next door"

"Cool, well I'll leave you to it, you look a bit busy" Thalia said and started to walk away.

"Hey!" Jin called after her but she was already gone. Shaking his head he walked to meet the other boys at the park.

After leaving Jin, I  wandered around the city  until I came upon what looked to be an abandoned  railway yard. "Interesting" I murmured to myself. Having a love for abandoned things and just being naturally curious I jumped the old rusty fence and wandered in. The front of the yard didn't have anything interesting, just old rusted train cars. It wasn't until I got near the back that I found a small area in the midst of all the trains it had junk scattered around the place but I could already picture in my mind how I wanted this place to look. Smiling widely I continued my search finding three new looking carriages. Grabbing the handle I opened one of them up, it had some junk scattered around but it was still fixable.

I visited the railway yard every day for a week and soon I had made it comfortable and cosy.   The center of the circle I had placed a couch and a couple of singular chairs. In the center of this was an empty and clean oil drum. I had decorated the first carriage with a mattress and a couple of cushions. The second was dedicated to wood for the fire, and lastly the third had a wide range of food and drink. In all of the carriages I had hung fairy lights on the inside walls making them feel more homely.

The boys and I were just chilling at the park enjoying the sunshine, I was enjoying my own thoughts when one of the boys spoke  "yah know, this is getting really boring" Jimin murmured, the younger ones all nodded in agreement.

"Well, what do you expect us to do then"? Namjoon questioned

"We could explore" Jungkook suggested eagerly, this was something all of us could agree to. We all got up dusting ourselves down as we started to walk towards the exit. As we neared the street I saw a familiar figure crossing the road.
"Lets go this way" I said to the boys and started following the girl.

         .

I climbed over the fence and went to my "secret" hideout. Collapsing onto the couch I took a deep breath, moving was stressful. Thankfully everything was unpacked and the apartment was set up. My thoughts were interrupted by the sound of cursing and the fence rattling. Getting up off the couch I walked to the front of the railway yard. There were six boys on the other side of the fence, the seventh one seemed to be stuck on top of the fence. I cleared my throat making them all jump, causing  the boy on top of the fence to fall off, thankfully his friends caught him. "Uh, Thalia, it's me again" Jin nervously laughed.

"I can see that, and you've brought friends" I raised my eyebrows motioning to the six boys standing beside him. "Yeah, well. . . do you think we could hang out with you"? Jin asked

"Of course, only if you all want to," I replied, eyeing the other boys. The boys looked at each other nodding, "it's not like we have much else to do" Jimin shrugged, the other boys nodded in agreement and started climbing the fence one by one. Curiously  they all followed me to the area I had created. I heard a few awe's and ah's from behind me. "Did you do all of this yourself"? Jungkook asked from behind me

"Of course I did, all in the span of a week" I chuckled. The boys stood there still in shock chuckling at their cuteness, I walked to the food  and got some snacks. By the time I got back the boys had settled in and were acting as if your special place was theirs. "Nice to see you've all made yourselves at home" I said, throwing the snacks to each of them. Sitting down we all started to talk.
