The endless journey

Chapter one: The beginning of a new life

The air was pure and fresh, with no pollutants at all. The thick greenery made it calm and happy. The surrounding was incredibly quiet. But, the quietness was broken by the echoes of a crying baby. The planet had given birth to a little baby boy. Little did this boy know that his life is going to be special. 

The two people who we now call 'parents' ,decided to call the boy Dan. Dan had a nice childhood. He had good 'friends', and a good 'family'. He grasped concepts easily. Definitely there were times when Dan had done mischief but that was a common thing. Dan's favourite place was in the cave with a fireplace. It made him feel safe as that was what scared away the animals. This was his way of life until he was 20 years old.

Before he reached 20, he thought he was a happy man living a happy life. But once he reached 20, he realised he wasn't growing anymore. He thought it was probably a weird thought he had and was actually growing, but later the thought in his mind started running pretty much all the time. He kept thinking, was he special? Was he sent to do something? He never understood, but he just went on and on...

Years passed by. Dan wanted to live on his own. He once called his 'family' and told he was going to leave and live on his own. The family was so surprised that they started laughing hard. No one believed him. Dan had no choice and so left without telling anyone.

An hour passed by as Dan had left and no one in the 'family' realised. Then it was evening and then the 'family' started feeling worried, but they still thought he went for play. But a day passed and Dan did not return and so they finally had to take in the fact that he had left. The 'family'  started getting very depressed. They felt sad that the best 'family' member had left. Dan had felt sad leaving his 'family' but also felt like a proud man living alone and was awaiting a long life...
