There was a quiet girl who lived in the village. Every human knew this. I really hated humans, but I guess I'm a hypocrite then, seeing as I am one. Though this hate went to deadly measures, and I never really knew why. I had recently been wandering along Mt. Ebott, despite the legends, and had found a hole. It looked like it went down pretty far and I couldn't really see the bottom, but I knew it would work. The girl would be perfect to test it.
I wandered through the village, looking for the girl. I'd have to gain her trust, though I knew no one would miss her either way. When I found her, she was sitting in the middle of a flower meadow, picking petals off of a pink daisy. Her family had recently "disappeared" and she seemed to be trying to her best to take it lightly. She didn't turn to look at me.
"Hey... I heard what happened... about your family..."
She said nothing, picking another flower. I took another step toward her, pretending to be sympathetic.
"It'll be alright... you can talk to me... I'll be your friend..."
When she spoke, she was quiet, barely heard.
"How do I know you won't tell any secrets...?"
"I don't think you can but I do know that you can trust me... please... I'm not like the others... just... give me a chance... I'll help you..."
Lies, all of them, but if she knew, she didn't say anything.
"You have two minutes to prove to me I can trust you..."
Two minutes... trustworthy... I had no idea what I could do other than try to show her the hole.
"I can show you a secret."
"And what would that secret be....?"
"Well, follow me. We have to go to it"
She sighed, probably not believing me, and stood, putting her hands in the pockets of her galaxy sweatshirt. Finally, she turned her blue eyes to me.
"Alright. Lead the way, I guess..."

The trip there was a bit long, but she kept up nicely. I knew where the hole was. The only problem was getting her to fall in or even approach it without seeing it. The girl never said a word as we walked, allowing me to think of what to do. Unfortunately, I had no ideas, other than dragging her there myself.

The trip was quiet. I enjoyed that myself, though kept my hands in my pockets, more focused on tracking the soul of the person, following what they did, making sure to avoid anything they did. Anything else was dark, nothing, an abyss that I walked through every day using my hands and ability to track souls. I had no idea how I had found that field or memorized the way to it. I just knew that I went there when I was upset. But now? I didn't have any clue where I was. The girl eventually stopped and I did too, waiting. Where had she led me and what secret was she showing me? She invited me to stand next to her and I did. After a second, there was a hand on my back, pushing my forward. I didn't let myself get pushed. Instinctively, I put a foot out in front of me, but there was no earth. I was falling and I didn't know where I was falling or how far, fast, or long. Instead, I reached out to the other human and felt an invisible force drag her down with me.
