Burglar stays for "breakfast"

"Louis!" I wake up to an alarmed,high pitched scream coming from the guest room and I throw my blankets off just as the memories of last night come flooding back to me. I quickly throw on a white tee shirt from yesterday over my head and run down the hall in just my boxers and shirt.
When I come to the guest room I burst in to see what's happening.
"What wrong?!" I asks panicked as a look around the room, but I don't need to asks what's wrong when I find Zayn standing on one side of the room covering his face with a pillow and Skylar on the other side of the room still in bed cuddling up to the sheets,wide eyes and pointing to Zayn.
"H-he came through the window and I think he's a burglar!" Skylar yells and I block my ears.
"Yeah ok first of all though, can we not yell please love I am right beside you." Skylar pulls an apologetic face and nods.
"And secondly,this is Zayn he's my best mate and he's not a burglar he's in One Direction too so you can calm down love." Skylar nods once again and climbs out of bed to stand beside me.
"But why did he come through the window?" She asks and I nod.
"That's actually what I was about to ask,along with why are you covering your face with a pillow Zayn?" The black haired boy slowly puts down the fluffy pillow and pints to Skylar.
"When I came in she threw pillows,a phone and keys at me so I was hiding from whoever this crazy girl is and I came through the window because the front door was locked and I didn't want to wake you up so I thought I would just wait in the spare room for a bit,except I didn't know it was occupied." I bite my lip and nod.
"Okay,that would've scared me if I came in here and just found you there but anyway I suppose I should introduce you, this is Skylar and she stayed last night, she's a friend." Zayn nods and Skylar holds out her hand but Zayn just looks to me.
"Can I talk to you mate,after all I didn't just come over to get things thrown at me." I nod and tell Skyakr she can have a shied while we talk.
"Okay so why'd you come here at what like.... 6:40!" My eyes widen as I look at the time.
"Perrie and I had a fight,anyway who is that girl and when did you meet her?" Zayn asks and I sigh,running a hand through my messy hair, I could actually leave it like this all day and say I used Lynx messy look hair gel, it would save me having to brush it.
"Um she's Skylar Simmons and I met her last night when it was pouring down with rain and she was walking so I offered her a ride home and then she looked like the walking dead she was so tired so offered her to stay the night, anyway why do you care?" Zayn frowns at me and bites his lip, a bad habit of his.
"I just, I don't think she's the right person for you to hang around with." My shoulders tense and I clench my jaw.
"Is that what you determined from your 2 second meet with her? Is it because she threw stuff at you, because she was scared like any normal person would be since a random person came through the window!" Im surprised I'm this edgy about what Zayn said about a girl I barely even know but somehow I know she's a good person.
"Louis no, I just think it's weird since you only haut met her last night and now your best friends?" I nod and sigh.
"Look Zayn if that's all then you can go now,I have stuff to do today-" Zayn shakes his head.
"Actually I was wondering if I could stay here for a couple of days since Perrie and I have had a massive argument and now I have nowhere to go, but don't worry about me since I'm clearly not wanted here." Zayn's angriness surprises me since he's usually really calm and chilled out, but I don't like this version of him.
"Zayn I'm sorry mate,look of course you can stay here I just don't appreciate you talking bad about my friends." Zayn clenches his jaw but nods.
"Yeah I'm sorry I've haut been in a bad mood because of Pez you know." I nod and sit down on the bed beside Zayn.
"So do you wanna talk about what happened or nah?" I ask and Zayn shrugs.
"It was about a magazine, I mean usually Perrie understands the rumours aren't true but this time she honestly thought they were true, she thought I'd been cheating on her with one of our closet friends because I talk with her a lot and there was a photo of me kissing her goodbye on the cheek and they turned it into this big thing and now Perrie hates me and she's re thinking everything." Once Zayn finishes he has a few tears down his cheeks that he attempts to wipe away before I notice but I do notice.
"Hey Zayn it's going to be okay,I'll call your friend and tell her to talk to Perrie about what actually happened and then all will be well okay?" I try to calm my friend but he shakes his head.
"No that's why Perrie believed it,because Shana told her it was true, she said we actually are having an affair to Perrie." Shit.
"Well it sounds like Shana has problems, anyway we'll get her to believe you okay Zee, don't worry." Zayn nods and then pulls a face.
"What's that awful smell?" I sniff the air and am hit with the scent of what smells like burnt mushrooms mixed with eggs.
"I have no idea,I'll go see it might be my neighbours." I walk up the hall and the smell gets worse.
"Yuck!" Zayn coughs and i open the hall door to be met with smoke and a brunette girl standing in the middle of the kitchen holding a fry pan and trying to get the smoke alarm to stop ringing.
"Skylar,what are you doing?!" I ask as I step closer to her.
"Trying to make breakfast?" She says but it comes out as a questions and I laugh.
"Well let me help you there love." I take the fry pan with mushrooms and eggs and tip it in the bin.
"Now let's try again shall we?" Skylar laughs and nods.
"Zayn,would you like to stay for breakfast?" Zayn smirks and raises an eyebrow.
"Depends if it's going to be edible or not."
