Are you mad that I changed it into Zoro × Reader? If so, sorryyyyyy! Here's the reason:

I originally just intended this fanfic to be just comedy or some sort. But since I love Luffy so much, I made it a Luffy x reader. So needless to say, I didn't plan the romaaaanceeee! How careless of meee~

And, their compatibility is too high for me to ignore.

But this still doesn't change the fact that the reader's fav is Luffy! Kinda like the reader will stay loyal to Luffy but then going with Zoro.

You looked at the buff fishmen nervously as you felt your confidence before shrank. You're just in your first day of being here and you're only in the East Blue arc, no way in hell you're letting yourself die. 

You saw the other fishmen glaring and your confidence shrank even more.

I'M about to get my ass whooped. Why can't I be strong like those MC on fanfics?! And, aren't fishmen 10 times stronger than humans?! Sure, the monster trio didn't seemed to be affected by that but - WHAT CHANCE TO I HAVE WITH THAT?!

"Arlong? My name happens to be Arlong..."

"I'm Luffy."

"Luffy? So, what are you?"

The other fishmen started taunting Luffy and perhaps got too overconfident in their abilities as a fishman. Luffy knocked them out by simply bumping their heads into each other. It caused the other fishmen to be shocked.

Luffy punched Arlong in the face, sending him flying and crashing into a wall.

You comically cried, putting your hand on your mouth. Mah boi is so strong!

"Who the hell are you?" asked Arlong.

"Don't make our navigator cry!" yelled Luffy in anger.

The fishmen were angered by Luffy and tried to attack him. Fortunately, Sanji kicked all of them, yelling, "Butt out, small fries!"

Sanji went beside Luffy, "Yeesh. You just had to run ahead on yourself."

"It's not like I'd lose on my own." replied Luffy.

"Idiot! When did I say I was worried about you?! I just don't want you hogging all the prey!"

"I-I don't mind if you hog them all, though!" said Usopp as he also went to them, trembling.

WHY ARE YOU TWO ALSO GOING?!

"You sure got some guts." remarked Zoro, also walking forward.

Wait- am I supposed to go there too?! Nonono! I would like to stay on this a bit safe zone... You looked at the Johnny and Yosaku who were looking at you, perhaps expecting you to come forward too. What. Don't look at me like that!
