The Devil May Cry van was seen in an abandoned street.
"I think we should split into two groups..." V suggested.
"...And cover more ground. Good idea." Izumiko said. She then got up out of the passenger seat and made her way to the door when Nico walked up holding two new Devil Breakers.
"Behold my genius: Punch Line and Helter Skelter." she said.
The devil huntress went to grab Punch Line, but Nico pulled it back. "Cash first."
Katsumi shot up on her feet. "All the material's we collect for your little pet projects don't count for anything? Is that what you're saying?"
Nico turned to her. "My brilliant, bad-ass work is worth every dime and you all know it."
The blonde walked up to her. "Well, your quality control sucks ass and you know that."
"Burn!" Toga yelled.
"Or maybe you shouldn't let the demons smack you around so much." Nico responded.
"Better burn!" Toga said.
Katsumi scoffed and sat back down. "Whatever..." Izumiko had went to the back to get Red Queen and Blue Rose during this.
Nico's anger faded as she held up her work with a smile on her face. ""I am truly gifted. It's a work of art!"
Griffon laughed from his perch on top of the jukebox. "So you're an artist now, huh?"
Nico turned to him quickly, her anger returning, which scared the bird a bit. "Yes I am. Got any questions, little chicken?" she asked, daring him to say something.
She then turned to V. "My grandmother was a legendary gunsmith called the '.45 Caliber Virtuoso'. I hope to be like her someday. An artist and a lethal artisan. Everything I create is art, whether it's a gun..."
She glared at Griffon as she continued. "Or a steel pot... to cook birds in." She sat on the couch next to Toga as she looked the the bird and lit a cigarette, putting the Devil Breakers on her right.
"Any more questions? Huh? ...Little chickee." She mocked.
"Best burn!" Toga declared.
Griffon said nothing.
V then stood and made his way to the door, waving away the smoke as he did. "I'll take my leave now." He got to the door and opened it as Griffon faded back into his tattoos. "And it I don't see you along the way, I'll see you at the bottom of the Qliphoth." With that, he left.
"Sure." Izumiko said as she came back. She then looked at Nico. "What will you do?"
The artisan shook her hands a bit. "I gotta shake the cobwebs out. I'll let you know. You got any more questions, better ask now. I can't read minds."
The devil huntress chuckled. "You can't read minds yet, you mean."
"You know it." Nico said as she handed her the new Devil Breakers.
Izumiko equipped Overture and left the van with her blonde sisters.
"All right, let's move out!" She declared, jumping onto the patch of land in front of her. The two blondes followed suit and looked back, expecting to see Nico doing something.
She was doing something... she was currently making herself comfortable in the driver seat of her van.
Katsumi scoffed. "So much for teamwork."
