Spencer

Well, Addie's back to work and she has thanked Hotch several times and he always accepts her hugs. So, I guess you could say things are back to normal. They aren't. No it's my turn to be under a lot of stress. The bill for the home my mother is in just went up and she didn't tell me, Strauss gives me dirty looks everyday, and Addie won't let me take care of her. She'll let me carry boxes for her, but she won't wake me up if she's craving in the middle of the night. Just the other night she had gone to the store and brought back pickles. I asked her why she didn't wake me, but she said I was sleeping too peacefully to wake. Right now I'm doing more paper work and Addie is looking at me concerned.

Addie

I'm concerned about Spencer. He seems so stressed about something but he won't tell me! He looks up, "What?" He says with an edge to his voice. "Nothing." I reply and go back to my paper work. Dang. What's up his butt? "Hey Reid do you have that paper work on the Florida case?" Derek asks. Spencer hands it to him without a word. Derek looks at me and I shrug. I stand up and go to Spencer's side. "Spencer honey. Are you sure you're okay?" then he snaps. "Yes. I told you a million times that I am just fine. Will you let it go?!?" My eyes widen and my heart breaks a little. He's never yelled at me before. Our baby girl moves inside me and I put my hand on my belly, "Well, sorry for caring!" I say and walk away. Tears stinging my eyes. I briefly hear Hotch, Morgan and Dave talking to Spencer. I keep walking until I find Penny's office. When I knock she answers the door. "Oh, honey. What's wrong?" She pulls me into her office and hugs me. She helps me sit and I tell her what happened. I thank her when she hands me a box of tissues. "Gosh, I'm emotional." I say blowing my nose. Just then JJ and Em come in. They both hug me. "Are you okay?" JJ asks. I wipe my freshly fallen tears. "I don't know. He's never yelled at me before." I admit. "I'm worried about him, he's so stressed and he won't talk to me." I sob into my hands and they hug me. "Shh Addie. It's okay." Em says. "Do I need to go talk to him? Or what do I do?" I ask. "Just give him a minute to calm down, sweety. You don't need to have this stress on you. It's not good for you or your little girl." JJ says. I put my hands on my belly. She's moving like crazy. JJ puts her hands on my belly and leaves the room. When she comes back she has some padded head phones and an iPod. "Here put this on your belly. It'll help calm her down." she says putting the headphones on my belly and plays some calming music. Pretty soon she calms down. "Better?" JJ asks. I nod and smile at her gratefully. I close my eyes and just relax. After awhile I enter the twilight zone. Where I'm not asleep but not awake. I faintly hear the sound of a door opening and closing.

Penelope

After awhile Addie falls asleep and I look at JJ and Em. "What do you think is wrong with Spencer?" Em asks. "I don't know, he's never snapped like that before." JJ responds. "Should we go talk to him?" I ask them. "Yeah, but we can't leave Addie alone." Em responds "Here I'll g and you two stay here." JJ tells us. We both nod and she leaves.

JJ

I walk out of Penelope's office and into the bull pin. Spencer is sitting at his desk with his head in his hands. Hotch, Dave and Derek are all talking to him at once. "Alright! Enough!" I say and they all look at me. "Guys, if you want to talk to him about this, please one at a time. You're only making it worse." They get guilty looks on their faces. Spencer looks at me gratefully. "Reid, what happened that made you so stressed?" Hotch asks. "My moms bill to stay in the home went up and she didn't tell me, Strauss is still mad, and Addie won't wake me up in the night if she's hungry." He finally admits. "Shoot, I wouldn't complain about that too much. If I was married to someone like that I'd be fine with it." Derek says making us all laugh. Even Spencer. "Spencer, honey, you need to go talk to her." I say putting my hand on his shoulder. He nods and goes to Penny's office.

Addie

My eyes flutter open and Penny is typing on her computer. I turn off the music and take the headphones off. "Hey, you're awake!" She says smiling at me. "How long was I out?" She looks at her watch. "About an hour." I nod my head and the door opens to reveal Spencer. I stand up and he comes over and hugs me. "Addie, I'm so sorry I yelled." He says burying his head in my shoulder. I rub his back "I forgive you sweety." He smiles and kisses my forehead. Then he tells me what he has been stressed out about. By the time he's done tears stream down my face and I throw my arms around his neck. "Spencer I'm so sorry. Why didn't you tell me?" We pull away and Spencer wipes my tears away. "I didn't want to put you under stress." He admits. "Honey, we're a team. If there are things like this that bother you please tell me so we can deal with it together." I tell him cupping his face in my hands. "Okay. I will try to communicate better." He says. I kiss his cheek. "That's all I'm asking."
