-bells rings-

GABRIELLA POV

Today's our regular, weekly half day, so we get out at 1:30. Today has been a pretty good day but I'm so glad it's last period. My last period is kind of a study hall class, which is convenient so I can do all or most of my homework before I go home. I was sitting next to my friend Rosaline (A/N Pic on the side). She was texting, knowing she wasn't supposed to be lol. (A/N Whenever you see words in italics, that means the person is thinking not speaking, lol (: kbye)

Gabriella: Rosa, put your phone up before you get it taken.

Rosaline: Girl, shutup. I'ma boss. You know I always get away wit-

Mrs. Tanis: EHEM. *Puts hand out* Give it.

Rosa: But...but...but Mrs.-

Mrs. T: I don't want to hear it. *Rosa rolls her eyes and gives her the phone* You'll get it back after school. Since this is the first time, I'll spare you a detention. Don't let me see it out again.

Rosa: Okay Mrs.T...

I waited until Mrs. T was out of ear shot.

Gabby: I told yo ass. Listen next time.

Rosa: *rolls eyes* I blame you.

Gabby: Me? at least I follow the rules, unlike some people.

Rosa: SWERVE.

Gabby: Don't be mad!

Rosa just ignored me and continued with her work. I did the same. I was disturbed when some guy sitting behind me tapped me on my shoulder.

Guy: Hey, uh..do you have an extra pencil I could borrow?

Gabby: Um, yeah. here.

Guy: Thanks.

I finished all my homework and soon the bell rang, letting us know it was time to go and time to get our weekend started. I gathered my stuff and walked to my locker. Rosa's locker is at the other end of the hall, so she said she'd meet me at mine after she got her stuff. I was just about to close my locker when I felt another tap on my shoulder, I turned around and saw it was the same guy who asked for my pencil.

Guy: Left your pencil. :)

Gabby: Oh yeah, thanks love.

Guy: No problem....hey I barely see you around here. You a Senior?

Gabby: Nah, Junior. and you barely see me because I'm not hanging with the cool kids, right?

Guy: Well..yeah. But you're pretty cool since you let me borrow your pencil...cause I really needed it haha.

Gabby: Hahaha, well you're welcome. So wha-

Rosa: Hey Gabby, I see you met Darryl.

Gabby: Hey, and ohh, so your name's Darryl?

Guy: Yeah..

Gabby: Cool. Well we gotta go..so, see you around?

Darryl: Fasho. :)

Gabby: See ya *salutes*

Rosa: Bye Darryl :)

DARRYL POV

That Gabby girl is nice, and pretty. She seems shy though. Rosa's always flirting with me....she's cool but, I don't know if I feel THAT type of way about her. I do want to get to know her better though. One of these days...

GABRIELLA POV

Rosa and I waited outside the school for my mom to pick us up. It was gonna be a huge party tonight, so Rosa was coming over my house. We're going to go to the mall, chill for a while, get ready, then head out to the party. I didn't even wanna go, but of course Rosa is making me. Might as well make it an opportunity to step my game up socially. As we were waiting outside, a group of people from the school came walking towards us....the "Cool Kids."

Guy #1: Hey ladiessss :)

Gabby: Sup.

Rosa: H-h-hi :$

Guy #2: You guys coming to the party tonight?

Rosa: yeah we'll be there ;)

Girl #1: Great! Everyone's gonna be there. It'll be a blast :)

Girl #2: Make sure you guys wear something cute! Ya know..not like what you wear to school.

Rosa: Um. Excuse me. You are?

Gabby: Rosa..

Girl #2: Oh, I'm sorry. I didn't mean to offend you. :)

Guy #2: Aye, chill. We'll see you guys at the party ;)

He grabbed my hand, kissed it and walked away. I tried hard not to blush, but failed. He was really cute and his lips felt soft.

Rosa: Girl, do you know who that was!?

Gabby: Girl do I know anybody in this damn school? Tuh

Rosa: Niko Warren (Guy#2) and Arin Ray (Guy#1). Hottest guys in the entire school. I peeped the way Niko was lookin at you!

Gabby: Excuse me? Aha. No. He's not even that cute, and I doubt he was looking at me any type of way. Even if he was, he probably been looking at a whole bunch of other girls the same way too. I ain't got time for that Rosa.

Rosa: oh. my. gosh. Can you PLEASE loosen up? I'm not taking you to this party with me if you're gonna act all grumpy.

Gabby: Oh joy, I didn't wanna go anyways. I started walking away but she pulled me back.

Rosa: Gabby. Please. I really want you to come with me and you know deep down inside you want to go tooo. Now stop acting ratchet and come on.

As she said that, my mom pulled up. Rosa grabbed my hand and pulled me in the car. This was going to be a looong night.
