A week later, all the mobs in the End have moved to the over world. They've started manifesting themselves everywhere at night, and attack the players, giving them something to do. Meanwhile, I decided to remain in the End to watch the Egg hatch. I've practically mothered it, if I wasn't male. I hug the egg close to me as I stare up at the murky purple sky, and for a moment, enjoy the silence. The stillness of it all is miraculous compared to a week ago. Herobrine's ash is completely gone, and an update came out for the world that apparently removed Herobrine. I look at the scar on my stomach left by the first time we met, and quickly pull my shirt over it. Suddenly, I hear a noise come from the obsidian dome. I hastily hug the egg tightly, but not tight enough to crush it, and run to the obsidian dome. What comes out of it are two players, Steve and Alex, who both seem to have recovered very well. They smile at me, and I smile back.

"Told ya we'd come back," Steve says.

I nod and show them the egg. Alex tries to grab it, but hesitates.

"Can I hold it?" she asks.

I nod and hand her the egg. She holds it gently and it shakes in her hands. Then, a crack appears.

"Oh, did I hold it too hard?!" She yells worriedly.

Steve laughs. "No, stupid, it's hatching."

She relaxes her shoulders and gives it back to me.

"What egg is it?" she asks.

Steve decides to guess. "It looks like an Enderdragon egg."

I nod and smile. Alex kneels down to the egg's level and listens for movement. "Have you been raising it?"

I nod again and set it down on the ground. Alex sighs. "Your old lord died, I heard. That's too bad. Sorry to hear that."

I sigh and look away. "Well, at least there will always be another one, now that the hacks are gone," Steve says.

I smile weakly and look down at the egg.

"Your mobs have really been busy populating themselves on the over world. What are you gonna do when this egg hatches?" Alex asks.

I point to the portal in the centre. She smiles. "That's what I thought."

"Be careful out there, eh?" Steve says, "It's a cruel world, but also a nice one."

"Hey Steve, you know what the egg would like?" Alex asks.

"What's that?" Steve replies.

"One of your good player, universe stories," she suggests, "I know I love those."

Steve huffs and agrees, and we all head over to the centre. Steve sits on the rim of the portal while Alex, the egg and I all gather around. I then realize that this feels like Lord Enderdragon's story time at the very beginning, and I can't help but smile at that fact. Steve thinks of a good story while I stroke the top of the egg. Alex smiles and puts her hand on mine. I avoid blushing and wait for Steve to pick a story. Once he has one, we all listen close.

"Alright, well, this story takes place in the middle of space, where no mobs live," Steve starts.

"No one knew if there was ever going to be someone there, and that's when the most miraculous thing happened," he continues.

We all lean closer to hear the whole story, not a single sentence missed.

"The universe created the Player."
