To wish and dream
To feel the wind
On one's skin
To dance in the rain
And play in the dirt.
Wishes and dreams surround the world
In more ways than a kiss
And more feelings than a gift
To laugh and play
To dance and sing
To be the person
You are within.
To be merry and jolly
To be holly and golly
To be a vision of happiness
That the world might bring.
There are many ways to view one self
Like the way an artist expresses
And the world redlects it.
Don't rush to find
Or hide away.
There's more to you
And maybe someday...
Someday you'll find
What you were looking for,
Or had hoped to find just once more.
Wishes and dreams
Can lead to mishaps and journeys,
But with wishes and mishaps
You'll be sure to be merry.
