Shiori?

It's monday again. Though it's defenitely way too early to be standing by the school.

I just had to get out of the house.

After I came back from walking Jude home I couldn't find my phone, which turns out my father had confiscated.

Of course.

I've been on the brink of going crazy the whole weekend but finally Monday's here.

Not that I'm thrilled about school but it defenitely beats home.

I bite a chocolate chip cookie and walk to the football field.

School doesn't start for 90 more minutes and there's no morning practice on Mondays.

Lucky me. I now have the whole field for me.

I walk towards it but then it downs on me.

Exactly what are you gonna play with? Fucking air?

I scold myself internally because of course I had to forget the ball.

The ball.

The main thing to play with.

I could play without the goals.

I could play without shoes.

I could play on my own!

But I definitely can't play without a ball.

And, ladies, gentlemen and everyone in between, that's my luck.

I opt to just sit on a bench and try to kill time by looking at the clouds.

"What are you doing?"

I jump as a voice behind me speaks up.

"Oh my God, you nearly killed me!" As I open my eyes I jump up just to hit my forehead with the mysterious person.

"Ow, ow, ow," I say, holding my head and bending down.

"Ow, yeah, it hurts me too," he says.

"It's your fault, idiot, you surprised me," I whine.

"I was just asking! The fact that you were dozing off isn't my fault!"

I look at him, hands still on my head, and see Jude rubbing his forehead.

"What?"

"What are you doing here?"

"School?"

"Oh god, what time is it?" I rush.

"Eight."

"Eight! Oh no- Wait. School doesn't start for another hour."

"I know."

"You disturbed my sleep and it's not even time for school? Thank you, Jude," I say sarcastically.

"Can I join you, then?" he says, going around the bench and sitting by my side.

"Can't say no, can I?"

He shakes his head and chuckles slightly as he slides down a bit, leaving his head resting on the edge of the back of the bench.

"You're different than I thought you'd be," I mumble, watching his eyelashes resting softly on his cheeks.

I rest my head on his shoulder and drift off to sleep.

"Shiori. Shiori wake up," someone pinches my cheek and I open my eyes.

"You are horrible at waking people up, you know," I say, glaring at Jude.
