The Plan

Alex and six of the SAS trainees entered the large building and spread out across the entrance room. They were all dressed in casual suits to blend in with the crowd of general public in the bank.

Unseen by the security cameras, guards and public, each man was carrying an MP5 light machine gun concealed within there jackets in such a way that they were completely invisible without close inspection.

The first thing Alex noticed as he scanned the interior of the room was an increase in security from the last time he had visited the headquarters.

There were two armed guards at each door and several more dotted around the "bank".

In total he counted nine.

They could deal with that many.

He watched as each of the SAS men stood an unsuspicous distance from the guards.

He remembered the plan and walked slowly towards the guards at the door which he knew to lead into the centre of the MI6 headquarters.

He slipped his hands into his pockets and gripped the two small syringes within them tightly.

3,2,1.

Alex struck, stabbing the syringes into the necks of the two guards.
They immediately lost consciousness and collapsed to the ground before they even had time to raise their guns.

The rest of Alex's team had acted simultaneously taking out the rest of the guards in the same way.

The people in the bank, realising what had happened, rushed out of the exit in panic, people falling over each other in there hurry to escape.

In moments the room was silent.

Alright, Alex thought, here we go.

He jogged up the first flight of stairs and was quickly joined by the rest of his team.

They reached the reception of the headquarters and were confronted by three men who were quickly silenced by a burst of machine gun fire from the SAS men.

But by now Alex knew that they would have been heard. And there would be a small army upon them any time soon.

Alex was leading the men to the office of Mr Blunt, the head of MI6 special operations. Or at least he had been.

Alex knew that whoever was behind this operation would most likely have taken this office as his, or her own. Assuming they were even here of course.

Alex knew how feeble the plan was. How easily it could go wrong. But it was all they had and he was damn sure he wasn't going down without a fight.
