Chapter 3

For some reason, Jimin has been dragging Yoongi to hang out with the new kid lately. Yoongi doesn't appreciate it, nope he doesn't at all. Yoongi constantly glared at Jung Gin while Jimin is having fun laughing at the jokes Jung Gin is saying.

Yoongi would often leave in the middle of it. This just wasn't too good for Yoongi. He knows that the new kid is definitely bad news. Nowadays Yoongi just keeps on arguing with Jimin about his attitude towards the new kid. Yoongi just didn't like him, what is the matter with that.

"Jimin, we have many conversations about this whole I'm being rude to Jung Gin situation. Could you drop it already? There are some people I just can't get along with, stop forcing me to." Yoongi says in the most calm voice he could muster at this point in time. Sure Jimin screaming and shouting at him is not helping at all.

"He is new and he needs friends! Don't be so selfish and only care about your needs." Jimin shouts. Yoongi looks up at Jimin with an unreadable expression. "You know, not everything revolves around that dumb new kid, Jimin. For all you know he could have malicious intent." Yoongi spat.

Yoongi has always been pessimistic about people except Jimin who has always been an angel to him. Jimin glared at him, a sign of his anger growing but Yoongi wouldn't back down on his initial impression of the new kid.

Jung Gin just rubs him in the wrong way, he never enjoyed the other boys getting too chummy with Jimin, but Yoongi had changed a lot since they started dating. He became more open and even started talking to other people. Everything became the opposite when Jimin entered his life.

He became the happiest person on earth. Then now this person has to come into their life and breaking him and Jimin apart.

He felt angry at everything and anything but what he hated the most is the new kid. It has only been less than a week since he transferred, but Yoongi is reaching his limit. "You know what Jimin, why not you just date that new guy if you're defending him so much? I mean really, you don't even know him that well. He has only been in the school for 3 days and look at us, fighting every day about that guy." Yoongi laughs.

"I'm a failure aren't I? Can't even keep my own boyfriend with me." Yoongi scoffs. Jimin became wide-eyed. Was this a break up proposal? "I'm not breaking up with you, but uf you want to, I won't stop you. I only want your happiness." Yoongi says before he retreats into his own room, Jimin left outside to think about his own words and Yoongi's.

What Yoongi said is true. They have only been fighting over the new kid because Yoongi isn't friendly towards him. Jimin knows that Yoongi puts in a lot of effort to get along with others. Now Jimin is screaming at him because he is being rude to the new kid.

"What kind of boyfriend am I?" Jimin whispers before he goes into the bedroom as well to isolate himself with his sadness.

Yoongi on the other hand is in his room, thinking of ways to confront the new student. He has been getting on his nerves since day one and it has never stopped. "That fucker is out to destroy my relationship with Jimin." Yoongi mutters under his breath.

Yoongi always had this kind of personality as his defence mechanism. He never wanted to get too close to people, but Jimin is too kind and always got into all kinds of trouble that he didn't sign up for.

Yoongi sighs. It didn't matter, he will meet the new kid during recess tomorrow to talk it out. He has never been a violent guy but this made him want to punch the boy.

After a while Yoongi went to comfort Jimin as usual, knowing that he is really affected by their fight just now. They both fell asleep on the same bed after a while. Yoongi's mind couldn't stop swirling with the thought of confronting Jung Gin tomorrow, to make things clear for the new kid.

He would learn that he regrets those actions greatly later in life.
