Chapter 5

By downhill, i literally mean everything going downhill. His strict parents threw him out of the house. The behaviour he had displayed was simply, unacceptable. It will ruin their reputation.

He was also pulled out of school by his parents. He decided that he would earn his keep but nowhere would hire him without his parent's consent. He was still considered a student.

Yoongi was forced to live on the streets under the harsh weather conditions in Korea. The worst was always winter with the lack of proper clothes and shelter. He would try to stay near the waters where it was only slightly warmer, finding fabrics which were thrown away as his only form of protection.

This went on for months, years even. He finally got a job when he was considered an "adult". Barely scraping by, he made sure to keep himself clean, somewhat.

Things just really isn’t looking as bright as it should be but, it isn’t like he actually has a choice or say in this. His parents still refuses to take him back. His beloved Jimin has been taken from him by some jerk who only wants to fool around with his ex-boyfriend.

That is until, he sees Jimin and Jung Gin coming out from one of the top universities in Korea. He just happens to walk past the school today, choosing to walk a different route from his usual back to his small rented Goshiwon, the cheapest accommodation he could afford with his salary that he earns from his jobs.

He couldn't possibly let them see him in such a shape, so he quickens his pace, hoping to get out of their sight. That is until he was called out. "Yoongi?" It was Jimin who had just called his name but he made sure not to show any reaction, just continue walking on.

Someone jogged up to him. He could hear the footsteps getting slightly louder with each step. "How pathetic did you become, Min Yoongi?" Jung Gin stood in front of him with a smug look on his face. "You've clearly gotten the wrong person." Yoongi glared at Jung Gin.

Jung Gin quirked up his eyebrow slightly as he continued to look at Yoongi suspiciously. Jimin came over to drag the boy away. "So sorry for disturbing you. We will be on our way now." Jimin says with that sweet voice that has never changed. Yoongi really misses that but he can't blow his cover, not in front of Jung Gin.

It would only be extremely embarrassing.

The couple walked away and Yoongi continued to make his way back to the small space that he calls home. He might have to meet Jimin on another day when Jung Gin isn't there.
