Chapter 3

"How about the papers of the newly suggested proposal of Mr. Kim, have I done signing it?" Mina inquired to her secretary who is now busy filing up a bunch of newly signed papers.

In just an hour, Mina has to go in the airport for the flight. Sana is already there waiting for her and was texting her the whole time of where she is now as she don't want Mina to be late.

And Mina is never in her life experience being late, except this one. Just when she have to go, that's when she only remembered of the most important things.

"I gave it to you in advance Miss, so you must have signed it." Nayeon said, "don't worry, I'm sure everything's fine now."

Mina sighed in relief, leaning on her office chair as she closed her tired eyes.

This is it. I'll be leaving my company for months. Whatever will happen after, I just hope my company will stay great as this time when I comeback. She thought.

Mina's POV

We are now in the airport.

Any minutes now, I'll be leaving my country and go to SaTzu's Paradise.

Their resort in the Philippines.

"Remember, don't call your secretary. Never think about the company. Never overthink about me." Sana said.

"What?" I asked "I'll tell Tzuyu your flirting with me."

"Yah! I'm just lighting up the mood. You know, I'll miss you." She sadly said and I noticed her eyes getting watery.

"I'll miss you too snake." I said and hugged her.

We both pulled back and she's crying while laughing.

"Have a nice vacation there, alright?" She said when I heard the cue that I have to go inside the plane.

I hugged her once again and left. Dragging my two rolling bags full of my things.

When I got inside, I sat near the window and put my shades on and placed my headphones on too.

I fell asleep the entire flight. After a few minutes, We land and after I got off, I end up looking for the van Sana was talking about. It is the resort's service van, she said. I noticed an old man, I think on his late forties, waving at me, gesturing me to come to him. I quickly went to him and he greeted me with a language I can't understand. He happily put my rolling bags inside the van and we drove off.

The ride took at least half an hour. I didn't really noticed the time cause my mind was already over thinking of the company.

"Do you want me to tour you here in the resort ma'am?" I heard him asked when we passed the entrance of the resort. I shook my head lightly.

"Maybe next time sir." I politely said.

"Okay ma'am. I understand you're tired of your flight. You should take a rest as soon as we reach the big house." He said.

I smiled at him. And gazed outside through the glass window. I already can see a few small cottages and people in their summer outfit, walking around the resort.

"We're almost there." I readied myself and after a few more seconds we finally came to a halt. "We're here." He said and got out. She went over to me and opened the door for me.

"Thank you."

He opened the gate of the big house and I saw someone from inside hurriedly went outside to see us.

"Oh, you're finally here. Miss. Myoui. Welcome!" The girl said and guided me inside the house. She's taking me to a house tour and she's very talkative. We went to the living room first. To the kitchen, she asked me if I'm hungry but I said no. I just want to rest. I'm exhausted and I want to sleep.
