Ch. 1 Pt 6. - The Beginning of a New Adventure

Josuke POV:

Unicorn has been helping me with visiting some places. And to be honest, she's not that bad of a guide at all. Speaking of guides, Javelin told me that she will also be guiding me in visiting these places as well...

Wait...

Javelin...

Oh shit.

I completely forgot that Javelin asked that she can help me at knowing these places. Why did I only realize it until now! Wait, she suggested it so she's at fault. No wait, who's fault would it be?

Unicorn: "U-umm, big brother?"

Josuke: "Yes?"

I snapped at my thoughts. I'm still not used to being called 'big brother'. Most of the time, I've been called by my first name since nicknames or titles wasn't really my thing as I do the same to other people.

Unicorn: "Are you okay? You look worried."

Okay Josuke, lie about the situation with Javelin for now.

Josuke: "N-no. I'm fine."

Unicorn: "Oh, o-okay."

Josuke: "Oh yeah, where's this special place you were talking about?"

Unicorn lightened up as she ran from the 'special place'.  I followed her as we were no longer holding hands. It honestly felt nice, having a little sister. Since I was an only child, this experience seems all new.

Later...

Unicorn: "We're almost there."

I breathe heavily from the distant run we had to get to this cliff. How, is she not exhausted from that run?

Josuke: "Unicorn, wait up!"

Unicorn: "Oh. S-sorry, I was excited that I didn't realize you're this tired..."

Josuke: "Glad you noticed..."

Unicorn: "I'm s-sorry."

Josuke: "It's okay. So, is this it?"

I then look at the cliff.

Unicorn: "Y-yes, we're almost there."

That looks tall. I totally should not have skipped leg day..

As we were 'walking' to the cliff, I feel my legs going numb. My first thought was to catch a breath and relax for a while, while the other is I should keep going and it'll be worth it. Since I never wanted to upset her over this, I refuse not giving up.

Unicorn: "We're here."

I then look at the cliff and the horizon. There were four small plants laying in the ground, all tied together. They look all different as they were there. I looked at the horizon, skies are fully blue, no clouds were present. The beautiful sun was in the middle with the calm sounds of waters.

Unicorn: "It looks so beautiful, isn't it?"

I was just in awe. This girl knows how to pick a beautiful attraction that it almost looked like paradise from here.

Josuke: "I'm just amazed that you found a place like this."

Unicorn giggled a little.

Unicorn: "I'm glad."

I pointed at the tied flowers.

Josuke: "By the way, are those from around here?"
