I'm Back

2 weeks later
Andy walked in the firehouse with Sullivan next to her side.

Sullivan: You ready?
Andy: Yea

Andy was in the locker room putting her bag away when everyone came in and welcomed her back.

The firefighters had been chillin around the firehouse. Chief Ripley came in.

Chief Ripley: Hi everyone

He was heading to Sullivan's office, but Vic pulled him aside before he was able to reach his office.

Chief Ripley: You wanna explain to me why you pulled me into a supply closet?

Vic handed Ripley the ultrasounds

Vic: I'm pregnant and it's your child. I've known since Hawaii. I told Travis. I don't know what to do.
Chief Ripley: Hey we'll get through this. We'll figure it out.

Their conversation was soon interrupted by the bells 🔔. Signaling for paramedics at a patient in Cardiac Arrest.

Vic: That's me and Travis I gotta go

She quickly kissed Ripley on the lips.

Sullivan's Office
Ripley walked into Sullivan's office. They greeted each other with a handshake and hug, before taking seats across from each other.
Sully: So what brings you here today?
Ripley: I can't just come check up on an old friend?
Sully: Sure you can, but that's not why you're here
Ripley: Well it's part of it, but how is Andy and the rest of your crew? Maybe we should bring in a therapist. They just lost their former captain.
Sully: My team they're handling it the best they can. Maybe they do need therapy and Andy.... truth be told she still cries every night, but I'm being there for her the best I can
Ripley: Ryan went back??
Sully: Yea he left right after the funeral.

Ripley than pulled out the ultrasound Vic had gave him and put it on the table.

Sully: Vic's pregnant? That's why you came to talk to me?
Ripley: Yea, no I just found out before I walked in here. I need to know where her head is at. I wanna be there for her. Sully, I want her to have this baby, but I know she wants to be a firefighter.
Sullivan: Hey talk to her and we'll figure something out. We're in this together.

(Sully from the corner of his eye saw Herrera going to her locker.)

Sully: Hey bro we'll figure this out. I gotta go check up on Herrera.
Ripley: Alright man.

(Sully headed over to the locker rooms)

(Andy set in her cot crying. Tears nonstop)
Sully walked over to her and set next to her.

Sully: You're not ready to be back, Andy. I'm going to find you a sub.
Andy: But Captain I thought I was. I thought being with them would make it easier.
Sully: Hey it's okay, but I'm not letting you go home, So my cot in my office will have to work.
Andy nodded her head and headed to his office. Ripley was still in the room. He waved at her as Sully walked closely behind her.
