Party Preparation

Time for a brief Yoichi (And Lyla AND Shinoa) Backstory.

It was a long time ago. When Shinoa, Lyla and Yoichi still lived in the divine realm. Shinoa's sister had  died and Lyla was one of the few people Shinoa still talked to. As Shinoa's bestfriend Lyla took it upon herself to take care of her, to be a friend Shinoa could rely on during this time. Yoichi who barely knew Shinoa and only briefly talked to her before Mahiru's death was worried about the state of the young angel. Yoichi, who's sister had died young from a demon attack knew how tough it was to lose a person close to you. He wanted to visit Shinoa to at least give her flowers but knew he couldn't. She would not let him or anyone else close to her for the time being. As he was hanging around Shinoa's house a girl appeared. A blonde girl who looked to be about the same age as him. Her blue eyes shone like crystals in the sunlight. Her long blonde hair gently tied in a braid that lay hanging on her back. She was wearing a beautiful and modest white dress and held a grocery bag. It was instant love. She smiled and asked him what he was doing. He told her how he brought flowers for Shinoa but he didn't know what to do with them. She took the flowers from him and told him she would make sure Shinoa recieved them. Yoichi asked her who she was and she told him that she was Shinoa's best friend. He asked if he could know the beautiful girl's name. She said " I'm Lyla Himari" and that stuck with him forever. On nights he couldn't sleep he would remember the girl he saw at Shinoa's house. Sadly he rarely saw her. When he did sometimes she would be too busy to talk and sometimes he would be too busy. When he was finally able to take a break from his busy schedule, she was gone. On a mission to watch the mixed child. Though he knew it was wrong he held a bit of resentment from the mixed child and the council. Now he could never see his love again. When Yoichi had faked his death to live with his demon friends all the resentment towards the mixed child was gone but he still longed to find his longtime crush. However he could not receive information from other angels and the archives are in the divine realm. He also didn't want to burden his friends with the possibility if he did find her, she might turn on him. So he looked for her but he never planned on seeing her until that day. When Yuichiro held a party at his apartment to celebrate his new relationship with Shinoa.

Yuichiro was preparing his house for the party that would occur in two hours. Mikaela, Shinoa and Lyla were helping him get his place ready. Lyla was preparing desserts in the kitchen, while Yuichiro prepared beverages. Mikaela was supervising the two ( A/N More like Yuichiro) to make sure they didn't mess up the food while also arranging the kitchen so the guest can easily find what they were looking for. It was only supposed to be a small gathering but Yuichiro wanted it to be amazing to celebrate his new relationship with Shinoa. Lyla and Mikaela just got dragged into it. After an hour, the only thing left was some of the food that was still in the oven. 30 minutes before the party Kimizuki arrives. 

"Since I know you suck at cooking I brought some chicken"

" First, I DO NOT suck at cooking. Second, I had help" Yuichiro point to Lyla who is standing beside Mikaela in the by the couch. She smiles and waves at Kimizuki. Kimizuki pulls Yuichiro aside out of view from everyone else.

" Who the hell is that?"

" Lyla, she's Shinoa's friend"

" So an angel?"

" Yeah...."

" Are you sure we can trust her?"

" Of course! She's Mikaela approved!

"Fine, I'll trust you but if anything happens it's on you"

" OK" I should have just told him she is Mikaela's girlfriend. No. If I did that without her permission, she would kill me. My relationship with Shinoa has barely started, I cant die yet! Yuichiro thought almost panicking. Kimizuki would be watching Lyla the entire time.

Kimizuki walks over to Mikaela and Lyla who were sitting on the couch chatting. Shinoa is upstairs fixing her hair. Lyla feel a vibration in her pocket . She checks her phone and there is a text from Shinoa telling her to come help her. Lyla leaves Mikaela and heads upstairs. As Lyla is opening the door to the washroom, Shinoa rushes and hugs her. She looks at her with tears in her eyes.

" Lyla I don't know what to do!"
