" Let's just get coffee at a gaz station, " I huffed to my roommate , Jun, who cringed.

" Ew, " he gagged " Who the hell likes gas station anything?"

" That's all I drink really, " I mumbled but still pulled into a coffee shop parking lot. In all honesty I was a trashy human being when it came to food. I spent so much of my college days eating horribly shitty food that it's carried on into my adulthood.

" Man this place is packed, " Jun stated looking around in line " Lots of young people. "

" If we went to a gas station we'd be half way out by now," I pointed out crossing my arms.

" shut up with your trashy food options, " he nodded to a very old and tired looking man " that's what you look like."

I rolled my eyes and looked around as I shifted from foot to foot. My roommate was on the younger side, still in his 20s, he had skipped college to work on his music career so his immaturity seeped out most of the time.

Most of the tables were packing up from people getting ready to head either to work or school and or people getting off third shift. I bumped into my roommate and nodded to one of the last open tables.

" I'm going to save us a spot order me a black coffee and a biscuit, " I slipped out of line and hurried over to the booth. Sadly this booth was right by the bay windows making the sun beam right into the customers eyes.

I closed my eyes and listened to the hum, you know the hum of voices that large groups take on, that's my favorite sound in the world. Two guys sat down heavily in the table next to mine they were in a very heated conversation. I sighed very deeply and rubbed my forehead. Damn the peace was ruined just that fast. This wouldn't have happened at the damn gas station, or even coffee made in my office.

" I can't wait until your car is fixed, " I mumbled to myself. I tapped my fingers to the tune playing over the speakers and tried to drown out the two people next to me with thoughts about class.

" You never texted me back last night," the people in the spoke so loudly I could clearly hear them. I gritted my teeth, I'm sure a few people where just as upset with them as I was.

The one thing I hated most was people who were inconsiderate of other people around them. There was no reason to speak that loudly in a shop, not in the morning or any time of the day really. I looked around and noticed other people shooting the two college age boys dirty looks.

I tried not to stare but something about one of the boys seemed kind of familiar to me. With a shrug I pulled out my cell phone to check my emails, as a teacher I got so many emails from my students it was literally scary. I read through a few spending replies to the easy ones and noting down the ones that I wanted to come back to.

" Some Professer showed up halfway into our conversation, and I had to leave."

" How hard is it to talk to someone man? I gave you his whole schedule, Il Sung is so predictable. you should have went to his house he's always home after practice."

I was never one to eavesdrop onto others conversations, it did no one any good but this time I made an exception. This could be some other Il Sung but I wanted to be safe.

" I tried you have to be buzzed in, He wouldn't let me in." A loud thumping made me look over, the he had slammed his fist on the table, If you want a piece of ass that bad you go talk to him yourself or have another friend what am I an errand boy?!"

Youth today had such ways with words, I thought, I looked around wondering where Jun was and noticed him making his way over with our order.

"sorry it took so long, " Jun slide into the spot next to me and passed me my food and coffee " I'll be right back, theres a girl I know here. "
