She's The Primadonna
Dinner Disaster
"Now, darling," my mother pats my shoulders. "I know you do not wish to go to the Kingley's dinner, but please, you have got to behave tonight"
My mother, Elizabeth handed me a pink ball gown. A ball gown? Seriously? It's only just the Kingsleys, not Queen Elizabeth or something and it's just only Luke. What does mom think so highly of the Kingsley? They're just rich, that is all and what I don't understand is why does mom adore Luke more than me? I am her daughter. She is always praising Luke about how gentleman he is and so does Luke parents because none of them know what exactly Luke is like. An asshole, a double-face jerk and a player who gets wasted everyday but his parent did not know that he party every night because his parents think he is a saint, so does mom.
"Do I have to?" I asked my mother, pulling a face. "I mean, I have nothing to do there and I might as well do my homework here, at home alone"
So I don't have to sneak out to party at Megan's house. Shit, I almost forgot. Megan's going to kill me if I don't go.
"You barely do your homework!" Mom protested.
"Well, I changed. I have my moods you know and now I am in a mood of studying" I told her.
She shakes her head. "No, you have to attend. It's is very important to me and your dad. The Kingsleys is very important to us, to your future"
Okay, to be honest, what does this got to do with my future?
"Important?" I asked her incrediously. "Important? What about me? Am I important? You do not even care about how I feel! I do not want to go there every single week"
"Please, Candace" my own mother pleaded.
"What am I supposed to do there, huh? Sit there like an idiot and eat lobsters in the dining room for hours, listening you talk to the Kingsley about, I don't know, you bussiness and stuff while I sit there, bore the shit out of-"
Mom lift her manicured hands to cut me off. "You have Luke to talk too. He's handsome and charming and a perfect gentleman"
Oh god, are we having this conversation, again? I still remember the last time we did and Dad accused me of being a gay for not liking someone like Luke. Well, I argued back and said ''If you like him so much, Dad, maybe you are gay to like him, why don't you just marry him!" That shut my Dad up.
"Now, put this on,young lady and I'll call Rosa to do your hair today you wont be sitting there like an bore yourself out like an idiot, trust me" Mom handed me the dress and give me a wink before she walk out of my door. My mom is a pain in the ass.

Our chauffeur, Jamie drove us to the Kingsleys. I think he does this a million gazzillion times because we always visit the Kingleys. I am so angry right now because I can't go to Megan party. The only revenge I could do to mom is to smudge my mascara.
It takes 30 minutes to reach the Kingsleys mansion. Thier house is even more bigger than ours. With a lot of maids, three chef, and even a live-in yoga instructur/teacher for Mrs. Kingsley.
When we reached there, normally there's a few guest in thier house, but today seems like no guest except Mom, Dad and I. The security guard recognises our limo and let us in.
One of the maids opened the door to let us in and there stood the Kingsleys. All dressed up so decent and classy. Behind them is the annoying, useless, two-faced, jerk Luke who, I have to admit, look handsome than ever, despite his annoyed face and that deep unhapy frown. I guess it makes the both of us that our parents forced us to actually attend this extremely stupid dinner. I bet he wants to be in Megan's party because his girlfriend, Lizzy's there. Wants to shag her behind the bush just like what he always did. Isn't that classy, decent boy?
