all my oneshots are probably gonna be long.. sorry if some of you don't like reading a lot >.< i tried to make this one shorter
anyways i've been dealing with majorrrrrr writers block also i'm a bit devastated because megan thee stallion's and beyoncé's remix didn't make it to number 1 😐 i'll get over it though hehe
on a different topic, i'm happy with the path this way book is going, and im slowly getting more confident in my writing
my writing was horrid a couple years ago i never want to read it again 😓

"finally- after a long day, i get to see my (name)-chan!" oikawa muttered excitedly as he stood behind the door of the apartment he shared with his boyfriend of three months.
the two were sharing an apartment because the both of them found out they would going to the same uni. the first couple of times oikawa asked the (color)-haired male to room with him, he flat out refused, because he "didn't want to deal with his fan girls".
it only took a couple more tries before (name) finally gave in and moved in, with the exchange of (name) having the bigger room. the first couple weeks of them living together were.. weird and awkward, but eventually they became friends and that friendship flourished into a relationship.. somehow.
oikawa's eyebrows furrowed in concentration and slight frustration as he tried to get the key in the keyhole without dropping the many bags of groceries on his forearms.
i don't remember it being this hard to unlock a door..
letting out a quiet cheer of victory, he opened the door to reveal a pitch dark house much to his surprise.
"(name)-chan..?" oikawa called out shakily. usually, the house would be lit up and blasting with some random, english rap music (name) would've found online. seeing the house dark and quiet was a bit scary.. it was almost eerie. "oh no, what if he was kidnapped while i was at my classes?!" oikawa thought aloud, quickly kicking off his shoes and putting down the heavy bags on the wooden table.
oikawa slammed (name)'s bedroom door open, only to be greeted with an untouched bed and the cold breeze of the air conditioner. "(name)..?" oikawa called out quietly, not adding the suffix because he started to feel his paranoia get to him and the noise of the wind passing by the cracked open window made everything ten times more eerie.
the brunette made his way out of his (name)'s room and to his, (name) must've been there, right? oikawa's hand wrapped around the door handle, letting out a shaky breath of anticipation before sliding it open.
"(NAME)-CHAN! ARE YOU SERIOUS?! YOU HAD ME WORRIED-" oikawa yelled, only to stop midway. "he's sleeping.." oikawa mumbled quietly, making his way to the edge of the bed, furrowing his eyebrows when he realized (name) was cuddling with a large, pink teddy bear he had won for him at a festival they went to a couple days ago. oikawa tried tugging the teddy bear from (name)'s death grip, but to no avail.
"tch.. that's my boyfriend..." oikawa whined as he glared holes into the teddy bear that had a smile stitched into its face. the black, beady eyes of it seemed to stare into oikawa's soul, making oikawa throw another fit and finally pull with all his strength and onto the floor. he stomped on its face just for payback.
"tooru..? what the hell are you doing..?" (name) asked tiredly, sitting up a bit to rub his eyes to see clearly. did his boyfriend really just throw his teddy bear onto the floor? "give me my teddy bear." (name) demanded once he finally cleared up the crusted eye boogers that was on his lashes.
"b-but.. why were you cuddling with the teddy bear?! you have me!" oikawa reasoned with a pout, crossing his arms as he kicked the teddy bear farther than it already was. oikawa knew he was acting like a child- he just hoped it annoyed (name) enough to let oikawa cuddle with him.
"stop being so loud!" (name) grumbled as he laid back down with a yawn, his arms tugging the blankets closely to his body for warmth. he moved over to leave a spot for oikawa to join him on the bed. "well? are you gonna lay down with me or not?" (name) asked sassily as he rolled his eyes. oikawa can really be a handful at times, but since it was him, (name) found it okay.
oikawa only told him to wait before scurrying into the closet like he was rat. a couple minutes passed with the quiet shuffling of clothes before oikawa came out with an oversized shirt and some black basketball shorts he didn't even know he had. either way, it was comfortable.
"okay! now we can sleep together (name)-chan!" oikawa said as he jumped onto the bed, immediately going to cuddle with the (color)-haired boy. he concluded that the groceries going bad would be worth it.

i only write in third person because that's what i feel most comfortable with.. but i'm gonna try to write in first and second person sometimes haha
