You woke up from your sleep due to a nightmare you couldn't quite remember
You got up from your bed and looked at your clock *3:27 am *
"Why the hell am I awake right now" you mumbled softly as you walked out of your room and down the stairs to the kitchen, you saw a light illuminating from your mothers room
"Mom?" You questioned as you walked into her room "oh honey why are you still awake at this hour?" Your mother asked
"I could say the same to you" you stated
"Sweetheart you need to go to bed it'll be a very hectic day tomorrow"
"Okay but are you okay"
"Yes honey I'm fine you should really be going to bed I love you"
"I love you too"You then walked back to your room, hit in bed and stared at the ceiling and thought about memories about your father... he wasn't a good man he would hurt both you and your mother. You just stared and thought as you drifted to sleep
"Good morning sleepy head" you heard Ashley as she shook you awake
"Whaaaat"you groaned
"It's time to get up we have a busy day ahead"she said cheerfully
"Okay but what are we doing today anyway?" You asked
"I'm gonna show you around town and we can hang out and get to know each other more" she stated happily
"Okay but can I sleep for a little while longer"you asked
Ashley giggled at how lazy you were being
"No silly we have to get going soon"
"Fine" you said as she left the room
You looked in your luggage and found a pair of jeans and a hoodie and threw them on then you brushed your teeth and hair hoping you looked at least somewhat decent you then brushed you teeth and hair,You walked out of your room as you saw Ashley coming up the stairs to greet you "wow took ya long enough"she giggled "are you ready to go?"she asked
"Umm yea sure" you replied
You two walked out of the door and you felt a light breeze which made you shiver a little
"Do you want to go to the arcade, I don't really know how to play games but according to your mom your a natural"
You chuckled a but than replied "yea I would love too"
You and Ashley walked to the arcade and had a lot of fun
(Time skip)
You two got home from your day of running around town having a blast
You looked up to see your mom on the couch laughing with your aunt "they seem to be enjoying themselves" Ashley stated
You and Ashley chuckled at her remark and you both walked to her room
"Is there anything I need to know before I start school tomorrow" you asked so that you knew what you were in for
"Well there's not much to know really" she said as she looked at you
"Does this mean we're friends" you asked
"Of course!" She stated in excitement
"Wow, my first friend" you mumbled with a smile still on your face
"Well it's almost 9:30 you should get ready for bed you have a biiiig day coming tomorrow" Ashley stated as she gave you a smirk and pretty much pushed you out
"Okay then" you groaned as you walked to your mothers room telling her good night "good night honey I love you"
"I love you too mom" you walked to your room and plopped your self on the bed 'I should take a shower' you thought to yourself...why not
After you got out of the shower you changed and got in bed and fell asleep 'tomorrow was going to be one hell of a day' you smiled as you drifted off to sleep
