everything felt so surreal for renjun. jeno really is courting him. that boy even introduced himself to his parents as an admirer instead of a bestfriend. renjun could have swore that his mother would have fainted on the spot if it weren't for his father asking her all the questions as he was so lost at what happened all of a sudden. he and jeno would often go out on small dates every after class and each single date they had still can't fail to make renjun feel like it's their first.

by now, jeno had already grown with jaemin clinging to renjun at times. renjun is thankful that jeno isn't there to shoo him off, probably trusting jaemin.

❝hey, renjun..❞ looking up from the notes he is copying, renjun blinked at his classmate who's pointing a finger by the door.

❝what?❞ he couldn't understand her which is why he went to follow where she was pointing at and noticed a lot of girls gathering by the the entrance of the classroom, surrounding a specific someone.

renjun couldn't help but raise a brow at how the girls are acting towards jeno. their relationship, with jeno courting renjun, isn't actually that secretive. not like jeno is even trying to hide it. it's even renjun who wants to lay low about it but jeno wanted to show everyone inside the campus as to whom huang renjun belongs to.

but even them knowing that jeno is about to be in a relationship, they still swarm around him.

❝seriously,❞ he was annoyed and he can't even blame it on jeno. ❝why does he have to be so hot?❞

the classmate that took his attention nodded her head, agreeing what he just said. ❝right! like, what ingredients did god use to make him?❞

even his seatmate? renjun let out a sound of disbelief. ❝hey, listen here.❞ jeno really do be getting everyone out there. ❝jeno is mine so stay in your lane, alright?❞

she laughed at how possessive renjun was when it comes to jeno. ❝calm down meerkat.❞ she joked, earning a glare from the chinese when she called him a meerkat indicating of how small he is. ❝well, how about you go and get your man? he came here for you.❞

renjun diverted his gaze at jeno who's standing by the door frame and despite of all the girls trying to get his attention, jeno's eyes were still on him. looking away with a faint blush, renjun started to pack his things and excused himself from his seatmate who kept on teasing him.

not wanting to be rude and push the girls surrounding jeno, renjun politely excused himself and can finally breathe once he reached in front of jeno.

the smiling angel then held his hand out, making renjun's heart burst. are they going to hold hands along the way?

oh, they weren't. pouting, the short male shook his head. ❝my bag isn't that heavy to carry so you don't have to do it for me.❞
