And that's supposed to make me feel better? Mother Nature has taken a long-overdue revenge on the human race. For our reckless actions on the environment, our world has sent a downpour of rain, acid rain, that can burn through anything. Next we have a very deadly, very contagious virus that was unleashed upon us. Millions died. Not to mention that the ozone layer finally gave way and the remaining populace was scorched by the Sun. We are all that's left.
"We" means the World Preservation Research Facility, or WPRF. We have been operating underground ever since.
It's only right in the moment I climb into the time machine I realize my importance. To protect the environment before pollution is even created. To stop the apocalypse before it even starts.
In other words, I must succeed or else the human race will be obliterated.
DUN DUN DUNNNNNN! To torture you guys, I'm gonna leave it a cliffhanger till tomorrow. Until then expect Ch. 5 of The Dawn of the Day of Night.
