First off, this isn't a chapter. It's an introduction of sorts. I'm going to give you some basic background information that you should know about Khorent. The only water source is the Aqueduct, which runs from the city of the Sovereign all the way down to the corner of Rexem. Smaller aqueducts lead off of the main one to the central places in the rest of Khorent. There is no grass unless the people grow it, except on Yirsha's Chain. Yirsha's chain is a group of islands off the coast of Rexem. The chain is an independent country in at the tower story is ruled by Queen Palica. No one knows but the reclusive inhabitants of the Chain how they get fresh water. The people in Khorent worship three gods, Foveros the Great Father, Fykian the goddess of the Light, and Kayzar the god of the Dark. Pip in this story is Queen Palica of the Chain's sister, and is being sent off to be wed to the High Kings son, who everyone knows as a spoiled jerk. So Pip has other ideas. You will find out more about the others later. I'm putting a map of Khorent below.

My name is Coco and I have like 7 notebooks full of stories I've written, some Fantasy, some not. I really love writing and making maps and I've created probably ten maps for different fantasy worlds.
