***Eren's POV***
BRAYNK! BRAYNK! BRAYNK!
Gah! I hate the sound of alarm clocks. Just the way the wake you up. Who needs to have a heart attack at 7 in the morning?!
I sit up and stretch. Almost every bone in my spine crack, leaving me satisfied. But who would want to get out of this master bed just to do some morning routines? But, as usual, I have things to do. Therefore, I will force myself out of the most comfortable bed on Earth. Just because I like getting things done as soon as possible.
Hiss...
"Morning, Kev," I greeted my dragon. Just kidding, he's a lizard. But did you know lizards came from the dragon family, or is it vice versa? "Ready for breakfast?" I yawned.
I turn to look at the oddly large window in my room. It take up about 3/4 of the wall, in height. Has to be about seven feet across. Slowly getting out of bed, I make my way to get a view of the outside world. Trees and trees and trees. Perfect! The weather seems great for my target practice. Maybe, just maybe, I could practice with my crossbow*? I don't know. I have to look after Kevin. Looking at Kevin, he's just sitting on my nightstand. Maybe we're together too much and need to spend some time apart?
"Kevin," I asked him. "Do you mind...if I go target practicing? I haven't done it in months and now is one of the best of times to train! You have to understand, I do care for you. It's just...I think if we become to attached to each other, we'll go blind of the real world. Do you understand what I'm sayi--"
Hiss...
"You're right, as usual. I'm rambling too much." I smacked myself in the head. "Look, bud. If I go target practicing, I won't be able to feed you for lunch, maybe not even dinner. Can you take care of yourself, Kev?" He croaked and crawled on the walls, out of the room. He's such a decent pet. I wish everyone could have one like him.

The first shot, I was off about 2 centimeters from having a bullseye. The next shot, I was right on the edge of the bullseye, and finally, on the final shot, I had made a bullseye.
Why had I been so tired just after a few tries? Because, in archery, you need to have complete focus on the target. Breathing, sometimes, even messes you up. So, obviously, since I hold my breath, I get much more exhausted than I need to in archey.
I guess I can go back inside. I'm too out of shape to be doing this. Maybe I should have stayed with Kevin. Is he alright? What if he's hurt?
"Kevin!" I called out. I sat there waiting...and waiting...and waiting for him to come. "Kevin?"
I began walking back to the townhouse, my house. "Kevin?" I checked the bathrooms, nothing. I checked the basement, nothing. I checked the library, nothing. I checked the kitchen, nothing. I checked the bedrooms, nothing. I checked the mechanical chamber, nothing. Tell you 'bout that later. The living room, nothing. The food storage, nothing. Guess there's only one place to check--the backyard.
"Kevin? Kevin!" I look around. There, I see two lizards, bound for one of them to be Kevin. "Kev, boy I thought I lost you!" He hadn't seem to reply to my call. "Ke...vin?" I realized the other lizard was a female.
"Nice job, partner. It seems you've found a reptilian babe," I winked. I'm so funny, I kill myself. "Well, at least I'll know where you are when I don't see you in the house. Don't scare me like that.
It seems he was first to get a girlfriend. Aren't girls attracted to smart guys that like archery and own a pet lizard? What's wrong with that, huh?
