"NO! DON'T COME NEAR ME" Gulf yelled with his hands raised in defense.

"The deal is a deal" Mew shrugged, standing up from his seat, carefully placing the glass of wine down the table.

Gulf eagerly shook his head, "I rather be bitten than.." he suddenly felt flustered with just the thought of it. "Just bite me instead!"

The older man chuckled, slowly walking toward him.

"I said don't come near me!"

Gulf scans the table and when he saw a knife, he quickly grabbed it, waving it as a weapon for defense. Mew stopped on his track.

"That's unnecessary, Gulf" he said with a confident look, "it's just a night with me then we're truce. Win win"

"Just ask for anything else" he desperately pleased.

Mew starts to step closer slowly again which made Gulf raise his defense even more but this time, it doesn't stop the vampire on his tracks. Every step he makes, the more Gulf steps backward until he bumped himself into a wooden shelf.

"You said anything except killing you so that's the price to pay" Mew smirked at him. "Easy!"

Beads of sweat starts to trickle down his forehead, he's nervous and frantic. He couldn't find any word to utter as an answer, he feels like he has been frozen in his position. His eyes is all set on the man in front of him and it made him giddy.

Mew is only a feet away from him when he stopped stepping closer.

"So, shall we head to my room?" Mew offered a hand to Gulf but he suddenly swings the knife in front of him.

Mew almost got hit but he's a vampire, he have faster reflexes than the common humans, and he was able to grab Gulf's wrist. The sudden action made the younger man drop the knife and everything went into slow motion.

He just doesn't dropped the knife, it flew right into his other hand and it hits him in his wrist. Luckily, he missed his own wrist with just a centimeter away but it's close enough to cut him through and it suddenly draw blood from him. A simple droplet of blood is all it needs to gain a huge attention from the whole mansion.

As it feels like a slow motion, what happens next comes fast.

Gulf have his eyes instantly on Mew and there he saw the sudden change. If earlier his eyes were shining in a golden hazel hue, now he have a dilated bloody red eyes that locks it's gaze on his bleeding wrist. His grip on his other hand tightens as well. He suddenly felt fear and horrified at many possibilities that could happen.

It wasn't just that.

The five maids who he had saw around the mansion was gathered in the entrance hall of the dining room, other two vampires, who he assumes are the cooks, is in the doorway to the main kitchen and lastly, the driver is there as well.

Every vampire he had encountered in the household was there, having the same eyes and look as Mew have.

Gulf felt his knees shaking, afraid and terrified, tha  he could fall anytime soon from his position. Anytime they can all leap at him and tear him part by part, limb by limb and he can't fight back at them.

He's even starting to regret his decisions, asking to be bitten rather than doing what Mew first asked.

As he sweats profoundly, tears starts to bream at the corner of his eyes as well.

"Gulf.."

He was broken out of his fear in his head when he heard Mew called him out. It was almost like a whisper and it surprise him how calm it sounds. Gulf looks at him and Mew met his gaze. The bloody red eyes was long gone, he's back to his normal eyes and he could feel his own heart skipped a beat at the sight.
