~Prolouge~

This was where it all began ..this was where our paths crossed..this was where someone important came into my life...this was where all things changed...this was where my dream of going there was shattered by the one person I trust
"Wait!!!" I yelled running towards the train
I rushed into the train with my luggage and looked for a place to sit, all places were full except for one but a guitar was placed on the spare seat ...

"Hello" but I wasn't heard because she had her headphones on..I tried taking the guitar off the seat when the train started moving

"Aah" I fell to the ground ...I was being goofy again and that was when the owner of the guitar noticed me...she gave a faint smile..and I smiled back getting up..that was the first time I saw a girl so handsome...I stared at her as she took her guitar from me ...

"Sorry about that"she said

I was taken over by how soft spoken she was , she gave another smile before I sat down .. she had this short black hair , with emerald eyes accompanied with long lashes ...her piercing brought out her look and she looked really pretty.....
"I'm Lola"I began "....."

That was where i began ...I spent my time telling her why I was traveling to San Diego ,California and my past experiences that lead me to this present situations..I guess she wasn't more of a talker she just smiled and nodded

Finally the train came to a halt ...all the passengers came off the train and I ran to meet Lucas who waited patiently for me..I dropped my luggage as I threw him a big hug
"I miss you Lucas" was the only word I whispered

I turned around but didn't see the girl I met earlier
" Lucas I met someone earlier but I guess I forgot to collect her number...silly me" I chuckled softly while Lucas smiled

"Come on ...let's go see Hailey and Ricky" Lucas said picking up by luggage

We went over to Hailey and Ricky apartment and I could see they were still as close as before ...I missed my best friend and finally I got to see her again with the man she loves..... we spent some time at their house before Ricky dropped Lucas and I home

"I didn't know you were coming today ..my house is a little messy but I'd ensure to clean it up "Lucas said giving a faint smile

"Ok " I replied

Night came...I slept peacefully rest assured that I was with Lucas

I yawned ..looking at the clock facing the mirror ..although it was a small apartment, Lucas made this place look more like a mansion except for now ..cos the house was like a pig style
"I'm off to work "Lucas said before leaving

"Bye" I shouted

Since Lucas couldn't get the time to clean up his house I thought of doing that ...And of course that made me exhausted
Lucas came back from work at exactly 8:45 in the evening, when I had just prepared dinner..he had a quick shower before coming out to have dinner...We sat on the small couch near his bed and dug in
"So did you have luck in finding a job" Lucas asked chewing his meatloaf

"No " I said" I was home throughout cleaning"
Lucas had a sudden change of mood

" you said you were going to come here to earn a living ...not to clean the house for me "

He didn't even appreciate my efforts ..this made it had to swallow my meatball
I coughed a little ..he looked towards me and shoved his head
"I'm sorry .. I promise to look for a job soon"
I said making that puppy dog eyes

"Ok"Lucas said with a faint smile

Lucas was the only reason I came to San Diego I had worked so hard for two years to come over to meet him and I didn't want to make him upset ... I must find a job soon
That was the only thing I had in mind right now

Back at Ricky and Hailey house {the night I came}
"I didn't know she was coming today" Lucas groaned"I only called to check on her and...

Lucas: hello Lola...how are you doing?
Lola: I'm fine Lucas
Lucas: so what are you doing
Lola: I'm packing my stuffs ....don't you remember I'm coming over...
Lucas:you are coming over ???
Lola: I told you I'm coming over once I've earned enough
Lucas: ooh...see you
"I thought she was just joking about it and now she's in San Diego" Lucas said

"Then why not try to keep her company..since she's your girlfriend "Ricky said

"Uuh " Lucas groaned" I don't have enough to make Lola happy ... I really think she should find a job soon.. so we could be able to get married "

"If that's what you want" Ricky smiled

I wasn't expecting Lola to come over ... I thought she would back out on her promise but I was totally wrong
Now I had to work very hard to take care of Lola
