(The morning after the fight between Dean and Charlie)

I woke up with a headache after crying myself to sleep last night. I been doing that a lot lately because my marriage feels like it's falling apart day by day and I can't let go. Especially with my babies, mommy and daddy together is all they ever known.

I get up before they did and get myself together. My eyes are puffy and red. I look like I haven't slept a wink. I feel exhausted, but I still have responsibilities. Like getting my babies up for school. I grab my emergency make up kit and head to the children's bathroom and make myself kinda decent, well as much as I can.

Then tip toe'd to Mason's room peeking in. He was asleep on his tummy, arms and legs thrown everywhere on his mattress. His blanket was on the floor and the flat sheet barely covering him. His hair stuck to his forehead, mouth wide open and dried slobbering on his cheek. I hate to admit it, but he got it from me. I was a messy sleeper.

I chuckled flipping on the lights, "wake up snuggle bug." I sat on the side of the bed. Mason groans and hid his head under his pillow. "Time to get up, Beatle bug." I took the pillow and toss it to the side of the bed, smiling when I see Mason's bright eyes look at me. My fingers go to his hair and push it back from his forehead. "Do I have to?"

"Yes, Mase. Time to get up and get ready for school. How about I make you favorite before you leave out the house?" He shot up out the bed and ran to the bathroom. I laughed because that got him every time. He loved waffles and chocolate syrup. I know it wasn't good for early in the morning, but it got the job done.

I got up and walked to Kenzie's room, she was easier to wake than Mason. I peeked in her room. She laid middle of the bed, on her side, the blanket laid perfectly thrown over her. I flipped on the light and walk over to her lightly shaking her. "Wake up butterfly." She turned over immediately and looks up at me smiling.

"Okay mommy." She tossed her blanket off her and stepped off the bed before tucking her blanket back and straighten out her bed. She grabbed her uniform and walked to the bathroom, to brush her teeth and got ready. I head to the kitchen to start on the waffles.

Usually I wouldn't mind making homemade waffles but I just couldn't this morning. So I opened the freezer and grab a few Eggos and drop them in the toaster and grab the chocolate syrup from the cabinet and broke the seal.

While the waffles cook, I stood at the blender making me a kale and flaxseed smoothie. Dean walked in the kitchen straighten his tie, huffing in frustration. "Good Morning." I walked over grabbing his tie tightening and placing it center chest. He leaned down smiling at me and kissed me on the forehead. "Good Morning Char."

I looked up smiling back at him and walked back over to toaster. Pitter patter of feet stormed the stairs to the kitchen table. Mason and Kenzie take a seat and I put a plate of two chocolate waffles in front of each of them. "What did I say about running?" Dean questioned the children. "Sorry papa." Kenzie spoke up first bowing her head in shame. "Yeah, sorry papa." Mason had a waffle in his mouth delaying his apology.

"Dean, they're just children." I poured my smoothie in a to go cup, dismantling it and taking the blender itself to the sink. "Children that don't know discipline, will think they can run all over you." I rolled my eyes at Dean's assumption. They weren't bad kids, they make mistakes just like anybody else.

"All I'm saying is relax Dean. It's not like-" I don't know how he made it that fast behind me. He whispered in my ear and his hand on my waist. "Don't you ever talk back to me in front of them again. I'm the man of the house and you will not disrespect me."

"Dean-" He quieted me with shush in my ear and a kiss to the shell of my ear. "What did I say?" He slides his hand up my side to the underside of my breast. We faced away from the children so they didn't know what we were up to.

I bow my head down, defeated. "Okay Dean." I hear him chuckle in my ear before he turned my head to the side and laid a kiss on my lips. I could of turned away, but for some reason, I don't. He finally pulls away himself and walks over to the kids, while I stand at the sink getting myself together.

I clear my throat and toss the blender back into the sink. "Okay babes. Go grab your book bag, okay." I grab their plates as they both head to their rooms to retrieve their bags as I walk past Dean he grabs my waist. "Look I'm sorry. Okay?"

He put his arms around me and kiss my temple. "Ok Dean." I try to pull away but his arms snake around me tighter. "You forgive me?" He kiss down the side of my face. "Char? Do you forgive me?" His lips then trail down my neck. My eyes close and my head fall back on to his shoulder. I could feel the tip of his tongue reach out towards my neck. I had to bite my lip to stop from moaning. "I forgive yo-"

"Moooomy, we're ready." Mason yelled or maybe it was Kenzie either way I was distracted. I moved away from Dean and this time he let me go with out restraint. I walked to the kitchen door about to leave until I remembered to remind Dean about later on today. "I hope you remember to pick the children up this afternoon."

"When did I say I was supposed to pick the kids up?" Dean turned around putting his suit jacket over his shoulders. "I asked you the other day, you said you could do it." He might have been nose deep in reports at the time, but I was pretty sure he didn't and wouldn't have plans when I made mine.

"Char I may be a lot of things but a liar is not one of them. I can't pick them up today." He straighten his cuff links and tried to walk past me out the kitchen, but I stop him by standing in his way. "Dean, I told you I had plans-"

"By plans you mean going out with your slutty friends to day drink. " Dean scoffs and walks past me. It takes me a while to catch up to him because of his big steps, but I manage to stop him before he made way into the living room. "They are not slutty and I drink because you drive me to drink. We are always arguing. One day I just want to get along but you always find something to judge me for, makes me feel less than who I am."

He leaned in close to me and put his hand over my head, against the wall, whisper talking to me so that the kids wouldn't hear. "Oh now it's entirely my fault why our marriage is failing. Not because of your drinking or your endless spending or you disrespecting me in front of the kids or that you won't do anything fun in the bedroom. It's just my fucking fault, huh?" He grabs a strain of my hair and twirl it around his finger.

I push him away and head to the living room, telling him "Go to hell you ass wipe." Before the door closed he laughed, "see you there sweetheart."
