"Hey Marie come out here there's people to meet In here!" My dad said to me
I was still in my pjs and haven't touched a brush yet. I quickly put a dress on and brushed my hair and hid my cheeks.
"There she is!!" My dad said
There were a lot of people in the living room. There were 5 girls about my age, 2 boys a little younger than me, and a woman my dad's age. My dad's arm was over her.
"Who are these people?" I thought
Amber came running in yelling "TIFFANY!!!!" One of the girls ran up to her and they started talking.
"Well they get along well" the woman said
"Marie this is Heather" my dad pointed to the woman. "This is Tiffany, Sierra, Grace, Joy Anna, and Jill." He pointed to the girls. "And this is Ben and Ryland" he pointed at the boys.
"Ryland!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!" I was screaming in my head. Instead of yelling I said "nice to meet you all, now if you excuse me I need to finish homework." And I went to my room. I then immediately called Jackie. "Jackie!!!!!" I screamed
"Omg WHAT!!!" She said
"My dad is dating RYLANDS MOM!!!!!!!" I said
"WHAT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!" She yelled
"YA RYLAND!!!!" I said
"Omg what are you going to do?!?!?!!" She asked
"I dont know" I said as my dad called me for dinner "I gotta go eat diner bye"
"Bye" she said as I hung up"
I went to eat dinner and we talked and talked. After diner Ryland called me to come in the closet.
"What" I asked
"I want you to shut up!" He said "I know your friend Jackie's secret and if you are mean to me it goes all over the school!" He yelled
I didn't know her secret but I knew it was BIG! "Fine" I said and I walked out.
