Touko~
When we reached Accumula town, I noticed it was desolate as well. "We're too late!" N cried as his eyes filled with dismay."We should check the houses. Maybe they're all inside," I suggested. N loosened his grip on me and started to limp the other direction. I grabbed him. "Hey! Are you going to be okay without any support?" I asked worriedly. He smiled back.
"I'll be fine." he replied as I let go of his arm. I should stop worrying about him, I mean, why would I be worried?! I thought. I ran to the nearest house and looked through the window: no one was home. I went to the next, still no one. I repeated the same procedure on each house on the block, still I got the same results: no one was present. Soon, I came to the last house. The house had a window, but the curtains were closed and prevented me from seeing through it. N came around the corner, looking disappointed.
"No luck?" I asked. He shook his head. "Well, this is the last house. Let's cross our fingers!" As I went to knock, I heard a loud cry from the house. It was a Pokemon! Then, I heard a voice.
"No! Please don't! It only just hatched from an egg two days ago! It's too vulnerable to go outside the house yet!" it pleaded. A second voice replied,
"Huh, too vulnerable, eh? I believe it is too vulnerable to be with you! All you're going to do with this Pokemon is hurt it by battling with it as soon as it's stronger. You're probably going to train it 'till it dies! No Pokemon should be treated like that! Now stop your whining. I'm taking this Pokemon wether you like it or not!" There was a pause. "In fact, as punishment for cursing this Pokemon with a imprisoned life, I think I'll take you too!" the second voice boomed. I looked at N, his eyes were full of rage and he was gritting his teeth. I could tell he would do something about the situation soon.
"That Pokemon, I can hear it suffering... It wants to be with its trainer." He finally said, his face was irritated. Wait, did N actually say that? About the Pokemon wanting to be with its trainer?! He usually says the opposite, he would've been surprised, not angry! I wondered. Maybe after he hit his head... My thoughts were suddenly interrupted by a scream.
"Abra, use teleport!" the second voice ordered.
"Zorua, run!" the first voice cried. I heard a crash and a zap, then all was silent. Suddenly whimpers came from inside the house, and N bursted in. We found a little Zorua crying in the middle of a wrecked house. It was a shiny Zorua too, blue fur instead of red. N quickly limped over to the Pokemon and pet its head.
"Hey, it's okay, everything will be alright," he soothed. The Zorua stopped crying and looked up at N. "Don't worry, we'll save your trainer." he whispered. Suddenly the Zorua's eyes began to glow, and N's eyes widened with fear, his pupils briefly glowing as well. What's happening?! I thought. Then N nodded and stood up. "Thank you, my friend." he said to Zorua.
"What happened?" I asked him. He closed his eyes.
"Zorua... It just showed me what it had seen."
