I woke up with a groan, and a sore back. I looked around the room for a minute and finally decided that we should be moving if we wanted to get to the house soon. I got up folded the blankets and stuffed the blanket into the bag and slung it over my shoulder as I went down the tree.
“Hey.!” I was startled by the sudden unrecognizable voice and fell out of the tree. I gasped trying to fill my lungs with oxygen but couldn’t. I started to roll from side to side groaning in pain, a strange face appeared above me. What the hell? Who was this guy and why the hell was he out in the middle of the woods. I was finally able to catch my breath after the wind was knocked out of me. I sat up and the guy held out his hand to me indicating that he was trying to help me up. I was now on my feet and I got a better look of him now. He was dressed in skinny jeans and a white T-shirt; he had long jet black hair that flowed across his piercing light blue eyes. He was breath taking but also scary at the same time, still I wasn’t as scared as I probably should be. I started to wonder why he was here again, who would be out in the middle of the woods by themselves?
“ I come here to get some peace and quiet and well I do.” I stared at him in shock, had I just said that out loud? No, I was sure I didn’t I would have heard myself right? Thoughts kept racing through my mind as I tried to figure out how this guy knew what I was thinking.
“How di- but. How?” He smiled showing his beautiful white smile and I suddenly forgot what I was thinking.
“I’m good at reading people on what they’re going to say by their expression.” Oh, well. That makes since, I guess. I don’t really know but I just want to get out of here so I can go and find Allison’s mom. I smiled at him and started to walk past him so I could stop this cold turkey nothing else.
“Wait where are you going?” He caught up to me and grabbed my arm lightly, why did it matter to him. Besides I couldn’t tell him anyways he would think I’m crazy like everybody else does. I just pried his fingers off my arm and started to walk again without a word. I knew that I was probably being difficult but what was I going to say, ‘ oh I’m going to this address to see if a little girls mom is there, and here’s the great part you just going to love it. The little girl is a ghost and I can see her.’ Yeah because I was totally going to say that, it would just be better if I didn’t say anything at all. He started to laugh and I turned around to him and looked at him curiously.
“What’s so funny?” He just shook his head, I sighed annoyingly and turned around and walked away.
“Will you please tell me where you’re going?” I stopped and spun around to him debating on whether or not I should tell him. Out of the corner of my eye I was Allison next to me again, I wonder where they go when they disappear do they like go to another world or are they just invisible but their still there. My mind started to get off track when I heard him clear his throat.
“Oh just tell him already” Allison said, I looked at her and sighed knowing that he would still probably follow me if I didn’t.
“I’m going to 4625 old mill lane.” Why was I telling this guy anything, it’s not like he had a right to know or anything. It was really none of his concern anyway, it’s not like he was going with me, I didn’t even know the guy’s name for crying out loud.
“Great, I know where that is I can take you there if you would like and by the way my name is Angel.” I tried hard not to let a smile come to my face right then. His name suited him because he was as beautiful as an angel maybe even more.
“Well it’s nice to meet you Angel, I’m bailey. Quick question, how old are you?” I was debating with myself trying to figure out if I should let this guy go or not but I don’t know. Part of me didn’t want him to go but a bigger part of me wanted him to go.
