Here it was, your new home. You were staying with another one of the Baudelaires' close relatives, aunt Josephine. The location of her house was concerning to you; it was almost completely suspended off the edge of a cliff. After being dropped off, all 4 of you went up to the door to knock. In only a few seconds, a woman slightly opened the door to peek out, but she seemed very timid.

"Oh! It's just you, Baudelaires. Wait, who's with you?" she said. Violet introduced you as you waved to the woman. The woman introduced herself as Josephine. Not long after the introduction, you quickly found out that she was INSANELY paranoid. Most of her fears were irrational, such as how she was afraid of real estate agents.

You were all sitting in the living room after having a proper meal. Josephine went to buy some things, none of you know when she'll be back. You & Klaus were reading a book together, sitting in the same chair.

"Hey, (y/n), can I ask you something?" Klaus suddenly asked. You turned to look into his eyes, unable to hide your blush.

"Sure." you were surprised you didn't stutter. He sighed & you noticed he seemed nervous. Now you were really curious about his question.

"What would you do if you felt like-" he didn't get to finish when Josephine walked through the door with someone else. She seemed really excited to introduce you to Captain Sham. When said "captain" came into the room, all 4 of you recognized that it was Count Olaf.

In a state of horror, you hid behind Klaus the second he stood up. You just wanted to live a normal life with your friends. After much arguing, you fled & ran outside. Unbeknownst to you, Violet ran after you. She managed to catch up with you before you got too far.

"(Y/n), it's ok. We'll help you get through this, we can't give up now. I know we can do this." she reassured you, leading you back to the house. She was right, you guys could get through this together. When you went back in the house, Klaus gave you a gentle hug, telling you that he was there for you. You couldn't help but tear up.

"Thank you so much, Klaus." you whispered.

After you found out about Josephine committing suicide & Count Olaf taking you out to lunch with Mr. Poe, you couldn't help but feel like nothing good was ever going to happen. You couldn't pay attention to anything because you could only think of questions; what's gonna happen to you & the Baudelaires? Why did Josephine kill herself? Was Olaf ever going to stop?

You were about to talk to Klaus about this until you realized something wrong. All the Baudelaires seemed to be having an allergic reaction. Violet had hives, Klaus had a swollen tongue, & Sunny had both.

"Guys, what happened?! We need to get you to the house quickly!" you cried out. You dismissed the confused words coming from Mr. Poe & Olaf in order to take the Baudelaires back to Josephine's house.

"(Y/n), calm down, it's ok. Me & Sunny are going to take a bath for our hives. We had this planned out so we can come back here." Violet said. After some explaining, you understood that they were doing this to debunk if Josephine had actually killed herself.

It took quite a few minutes, but you all made the discovery that she wasn't dead, she was hiding. Suddenly, the large window in the living room busted & strong winds whirled around the 4 of you. Hurricane Herman was just below you guys, threatening to bring the house down.

"We need to get out of here!" Violet shouted over the loud waves crashing against the cliff. As you all struggled to get to the door, the weakened house fell under your weight you slipped & started falling towards where the wall used to be.

"HELP!" you screamed, scratching at the floor, desperately trying to grasp it. Just as your legs became suspended in mid-air, someone grabbed your wrist. You looked up to see Klaus struggling to hold onto a hole in the floor, wincing as the wood stabbed into his palm.

"Klaus, in case we don't make it, I love you." you said as tears began to roll down your face.

"I know, I found your note." he replied. You suddenly felt your heart nearly stop. He found the note you wrote before the play? You shamefully looked away, too scared to meet his gaze again. Suddenly, the floor where Klaus was holding broke even more, causing him to lose his grip. You both started to fall towards your death until....

C L I F F H A N G E R!!! Sorry, but I had to turn this into a cliffhanger, it was impossible to resist. >:)
