"Will, I know you don't like our neighbor as you said before, but please try to be nice." She said handing me the vegetables

"I'll try my best." I said and left the kitchen. I put the bowl on the table and went to the bathroom.

When I came back all seat we're taken except the one next to Austin. Its a ten seater table. The head of the table is for my father even though he's not here at the moment and a seat next to Austin.

I turned to Dustin begging him with pleading eyes to switch seats.

"No Will he's not going to bite."

We argued for like a minute before mom cut us off. I had to sit beside Austin through the whole dinner. When it was time for dessert I personally took the offer.

"I'll help!" I heard Austin say from over my shoulder.

I turned to him putting on the smile that I could form at the moment, "no you're the guest. I can handle it on my own."

"I said I could help you why turn down the offer."

Because I want to be as far away from you as possible. I murmered to my self. "Sit your bum down and don't move a finger. As I said before your our guest." He followed me anyway. Can't this boy take a hint.

"You can't ignore me forever."

I retrieved the ice cream and ready to walk away "I can and I will."

"I need to work on my lady skills," he said with a smirk on his face.

What in the- I almost dropped the tray. Austin slipped his hand around my waist. He also managed to catch the tray. "Still don't need my help!?"

"Everything okay around there kids." My mom said from the dinning room.

"Everythings fine mom." I said a narrowed my eyes and glared at Austin.

The dinner continued Austin and I exchanged a few words. I think he lost his asshole behavior.

Correction, he's still very much of an asshole he skipped me in the lunch line the next day. His name isn't changing anytime soon.
