The Gang was hanging around the couch. My sister ran to the leader Steve " Hey sweetness. What happed to you?" " My parents, again." She whispered in his ear. " I'm sick of them treating you like this. Ima going to kick there ass!" " No! Even thought they make bad choices... I still love them." She whispered " how the hell can you still love them when the hurt you like this?" She just shrugged Steve loves Amara like she is his sisters. " I got suspended for the week." I said to change the topic. " And what did you do?" said Michael he's like a father figure to me and Amara " well its starts with the socials." " Like always." Said Matt "Ya, well they pulled the chair from under my tush." I said looking at Amara " and I left and hid in the bathroom for theirs and fourth period. The principle called me down to his office. We said a few thing and I said fuck you. And when I left I called him a motherfucker." The guys laughed I could tell Amara did not under stand so she just laughed as well. " you did good kid." Said Keith
After and hour or two Amara and I left. Before we went into our house I said " Amara?" " ya Dal." " you are my world and I love you so much munchkin." She giggled " I love you two, I just.... wished mom and dad did too." " ya well the don't deserve our love." "Ya, I guess." We walked in to dad on the couch with another girl and mom lap dancing some dude. I picked Amara up and covered her eyes as I made my way to the stairs. I placed her in her bed aka card board box with two pillows and one small blanket. I went to my room and did the same.
If our parent's worked and got money maybe we could have a mattress and some food. I hate stealing but what else could I do last time I hade a job the took my money and they beat me when I saved money for candy for Amara. God why? Why do they hate us so much? I think about running away with Amara Jack has been saving money for us. Maybe one day. I said my prayers " thanks God for a Fucked Up Life. I wish I hade more but no this is what you gave me thanks a lot." I always feel like I can here him say " No problem Dallas."
