When a human Kat woke up, she wasn't injured anymore, so she assumed she was healed. After realizing that, she saw that she was on a bed in a house, but since she'd never been in Bon Temps, she didn't know the house. It was unfamiliar to her. She realized who the house belonged too when, after sitting up in bed and looking around at the room, she saw a vampire she didn't know that she'd ever see again. Bill. He was in a chair that was in a corner, obviously having been waiting for her to wake up, but also probably making sure she stayed safe. He was a lot like Damon when it came to keeping those he cared about safe, which was one of the things that made her fall for him back then.
She gave a smile, seeing him.
A moment later, he was instantly seated on her bedside, but it didn't faze her, considering she'd been a vampire for so long. She was used to it, even though she was human, and had been since the cure had gotten shoved down her throat so many years ago.
"You saved me. Thanks."
He rested a hand on top of hers.
"Well, what did you expect?" he replied with a smile.
She gave a smile back.
After looking at one another for ten minutes, it was like time hadn't passed. They then began to kiss, enjoying the fact that they were together again after so long of being apart.
