Mary and cindy are in marys room planning the party for the following night, they are very excited.

"Okay, but where the cards are going to go?" Cindy asks mary.

"Don't worry about that, i got that all under control." Mary replies.

"Okay then that's it, we're done." Cindy jumps up happy while mary is just standing.

"What's wrong?" Cindy asks.

"I.. Suppose the party doesn't go well." Mary sighs.

"It is gonna go well... Okay?"

"Okay." Mary smiles and hugs cindy.

"Okay, now i gotta go, I'll be back later for tonight's party." Cindy says.

"Alright."

A few minutes later.

"Honey, i just saw cindy went through the door is everything okay?" Marys mum asks.

"Yeah, everything's fine, great actually, uhm tonight we're uhm, we're having a party." Mary stutters.

"Now mary, please don't tell me its gonna be this really wild party, with teenagers puking on teenagers and food fights and sloppy--

"No, eww no mom." Mary cuts in.

"Okay honey, but just please be careful."

"What, mom I'm gonna be here the whole time, I'm gonna be fine."

"Okay, because you know I'm gonna be gone for a whole week, because my boss needs me to do this assignment for the whole company and i have to be there, this is gonna get us a lot of money and we can finally arrange for you that car you always wanted." Marys mum says.

"Really?" Mary lights up.

"Yes, if you promise that when i come back this place is just like the way i left it."

"I promise." Mary quickly speaks.

"Okay i gotta go, I'll call you as soon as I'm there."

"Okay." Mary replies as her mother gives her a kiss on the cheek.

As soon as marys mum exits the house mary runs upstairs and dials josh's number on her phone.

"Hello." Josh answers into the phone.

"Hi josh, its me, mary."

'You've reached josh, leave a message after the beep.'

"Shit, voicemail." Mary curses.

"Okay, mary, you'll be just fine, just breathe, tonight's gonna be great." Mary inhales and exhales.

Then turns to look at herself in the mirror.
"Man i really need to clean up." Mary runs to the bathroom, bathe, brush her teeth, looked for something to wear and it was time for the party.

A few minutes later, the party has started already, everyone's enjoying themselves, drinking, having fun.

"Where were you, its been like an hour." Mary says to cindy.

"Okay i know I'm sorry, but I'm here now okay, now lets go and have fun like the way we planned it." Cindy replies then takes mary's hand, ready to walk off when the door bell rings and mary turns to open the door.

"Did i hear that there's a party, well you can't have a party without the queen bee." It was pat and ben at the doorstep with a can of beers and ice to keep them cold.
