The dreamies were, luckily, given the day off from their busy schedules. Naturally, Renjun wanted to spend it with you, his significant other.
To start the day off right, you got up a little early and made some pancakes for the both of you. You wanted to make the day relaxing and comforting for Renjun so he could get in some much needed rest.
He came down stairs, following the smell of fresh fruits and warm pancakes, walking into the kitchen aimlessly until he saw you in the kitchen hard at work. He stopped for a moment and smiled to himself, and watched you as you made breakfast. Slowly, he stepped over to you and wrapped his arms around your waist.
The feeling of his arms around your waist surprised you a little but you were quick to lean toward him gently as you continue cooking.
"Morning" Renjun said with his rough morning voice. "Morning" you replied.
After a while of holding you close, he slowly pulled his arms always from you and walked towards the table. You heard some clattering of plates, so you knew he was setting the table as you reached finishing the breakfast. As you sat down at the table in the kitchen, you talked about this and that, smiling at each other. It was nice to finally spend time with your boyfriend at home and in privacy, other than at the sm building.
"What do you want to do today?" You asked him picking up each of your plates and moving over to the counter to place them in the dishwasher. "Be with you" Renjun smiled at you contently. You blushed slightly, even though you've been together for over a year he never fails to make you feel so special. He is the softest human being alive and no one could replace him.
"Movie?" You questioned. He nodded and moved over to the couch in the living room. You quickly followed suit and snuggled up next to him. "Toy story?" He asked you. You nodded lightly snuggling closer to him as he picks up the remote and starts the film. The rest of the day was spent watching movies and dramas on Netflix. Both of you ordered your favourite takeaway and put face masks on.
You tilted your head slightly to the left to see Renjun invested into the film, you thought he looked really cute with his pink headband on and the facemask that was slightly slipping of his face.
Unconsciously, you brought your hand to his face to smooth down the facemask. His body jolted a little, surprised to feel your hand on his cheek. He looked at you and smiled, "what did you do?" He asks softly.
"it was slipping" You got a little shy as he held eye contact with you. Renjun brought his hand to the top of your head and ruffled your hair. "Thank you, honey"
You simply nodded and leant your head on his shoulder, giving your attention back to the movie.
As the day carried on you spent it mainly in the living room cuddling, watching movies, making snacks, building a pillow fort, but the day quickly turned to night.
It was nearing the end of the day and you couldn't help but give in to the heaviness and your eyelids slowly closed. Renjun heard your heavy breathing and saw how you had fallen asleep in his arms and couldn't help but take a few pictures before picking you up and carrying you into your shared bedroom.
He tucked you in tightly and quickly got changed and joined you in bed. It took him a while but he was able to fall asleep holding you close.
