AN: I just want to clarify that I don't know any korean, none of the images or gifs in this book belong to me. Anyway, hope yall are enjoying it so far. It may not stay formal for long but I probably should keep it that way since this is AP English preparation (*'ー`*)

It was a Tuesday. Three days after the mysterious call, and a week before the volleyball tournament Mizushima was to attend.

The plan to woo Miya Atsumu was simple and fairly planned out. When it was being described, Mizushima was surprised at how clever the girl who'd contacted her was. Granted, some of the information she had at hand was a little... personal. Mizushima brushed it off, as Miya Atsumu was a mega-idol; fans wouldn't have to try hard to find out personal information.

The girl who called, which Mizushima started calling 'Boss' as a joke, had seven steps planned out for the week following. The details were sent in a text message the morning after the two girls spoke on the phone for the first time.

Me

Shoot.

Uh okay...

First off. You are not to speak to Miya Atsumu about this at all. I have spies and allies all over school to make sure you do just that.

Second, you are to write little love notes. Write them in any way you please, but if you snitch I will know. Make them torn from the corner of a binder paper and not very special. Sign them by Seven.

5:35

Third, you are to place these love notes in places a normal person would not think to leave them. Where someone would leave a note in his foot locker, you are to sneak a note onto the strap of his bento box. I have his schedule so that you don't run into him when doing so.

5:56

Fourth, you are NOT to get mixed up with Osamu. That guy is too smart for his own good, he will figure stuff out if you even look at him a certain way.

5:36

Fifth, do not let anyone see you when writing these notes.

Sixth, after Friday is over with, I will put a peach envelope and stationary paper in your mailbox. You will use that to leave a note by his bento box on Monday, so he will know Seven sent it.

5:37

Seventh, on the day of the tournament. You will not have to do any work before or during the match. When they win (they always do), wear a mask and approach him. He's the first to enter the locker rooms and the first to leave, so be snappy about it.

Me

Woah that's a lot to unpack.

I'll do it.

Mizushima was surprised with the bossiness of the girl. Chuckling to herself, she changed the other girl's contact name to 'Boss Lady'. Afterwards, she got ready, assuming the conversation was over. Once she left the house, Mizushima checked her phone one last time while heading to school. There was one last text that appeared when she was in the middle of breakfast.

Boss Lady

And make absolutely sure you have his number.

Chattering of classmates started fading farther and farther away when the lunch bell rang. Spacing out while staring outside the window, Mizushima recalled the first text conversation she had with Boss Lady. She was waiting for 12:15, which is when class 2-B was emptied out for the most part. Most of the school's girls and boys followed Miya to the cafeteria, where he usually buys water. (Boss Lady assured Mizushima that Miya never brings a water bottle of his own to school).

Just as she was wondering when her cue was going to arrive, she heard it. The squealing of girls in the hall when Miya stepped out of the classroom. Mizushima quickly stood up and headed to his desk just as he left the corridor. Seeing that most girls would leave notes in lockers and rarely desks (it was too obvious), the strap of his bento box wasn't such a bad idea. She internally applauded Boss Lady on the idea.

Even though it was only day three, Mizushima was getting comfortable with sneaking the boy notes. It's not like he really knew who she was, and she surprisingly liked the change of pace it granted her.

She checked her watch. 12:20. There's no way he would be back in only five minutes, the cafeteria was in the third years building. Humming in satisfaction, and not noticing the squeals of the fan girls coming back into earshot, Mizushima opened the door.

She shouldn't have done that. Right in front of her, in all his 6' glory, was the man Mizushima swore to never cross paths with. Miya Atsumu himself. She was shocked, and couldn't speak for a second. Atsumu beat her to the punch.

"Oh, are you a fan? I'm sorry but as you can see I can't just give anyone an autograph, or else it'd be like my part-time job. Haha." Atsumu laughed in Mizushima's face and contorted it in disgust. Too angry to think, she stomps of his toe and utters one sentence to him before she leaves.

"Shut it, prettyboy."

Atsumu and his fans were met with shock, but Atsumu's friend, Rintaro, chuckled beside him.

"I think that's the first time any girl has treated you like that since you entered high school, Atsumu." Rintaro lazily patted Atsumu on the back and headed back to his seat to continue eating. The fangirls weren't too surprised since most of them knew of the situation, but no one expected the quiet, gaming nerd to snap at the famous Miya Atsumu like that.

He found himself hating her.
