I ran as fast as my short legs could carry me. I couldn't recognise this area, but most of it was covered with thick bush. Once I reached a deserted road, I slowed to a walk.
I kept on walking for about ten minutes, until a black car pulled up beside me. The windows were heavily tinted but when they rolled down the window, I broke out in a sprint.
Luke.
I may have a small build, but I always ran back at home, winning loads of races at school. I'm in good shape and I'm fit, but Luke is always faster, thanks to his long carrot stick legs.
I looked behind me and that was a mistake. I tripped on a crack in the path. I didn't hurt myself but it gave Luke enough time to jump out of the car and pick me up. I sobbed hard, not giving up. I pretended to go limp, then I used my floppy arm to punch him square in the jaw. But that just seemed to anger him, so he opened the door and threw me in.

The brakes squealed as he pulled up. He tore me out of the seat, me sobbing loudly and took me upstairs and slammed me onto the bed. "Why did you do it, Izzi? Why?"
"Luke-" I sobbed.
"Izzi, you are never going to leave me, you understand? DO YOU?!?" He bound my feet and hands tightly to the bed with rope.
He punched the wall hard. "I thought you loved me! YOU DO!"
It was extremely difficult to move due to the ropes, and a tear sprang down my cheek. "How do you expect me to love you when you mother fucking kidnapped me!" I sobbed.
Luke stood there emotionless, then simply walked over to the nightstand, my gaze following him. He rummaged through the drawer and pulled out something black and metal.
A gun.
