Sorry I didn't publish after each chapter was written I just wanted to make sure I wrote these chapters correctly since they kind of go with each other and I had to keep on changing some stuff within the chapter because I didn't know which way I wanted to it all go. If that makes sense.

"It'll be fine, Princess." Lily reassures me. I nod taking another sip from my tea. Lily and Felix are both guilt tripping me to go to the banquet. I don't even know if Claude knows I'm going.

Lily and Felix said I should just go to enjoy myself with other people my age. Felix said he would keep an eye out for me but I still don't feel any better about it. But this was this was the first time Lily has ever really asked me for something. If I did get friends from this banquet and receive invintations from them it would nice to get out of the palace.

"You look so beautiful also." Lily added. "You all did pretty me up for awhile." I tell her. "We just got a little carried away putting the flowers in your hair." Lily smiled.

"Do you think he will be upset?" I looked up Lily. "He will be so busy with people congratulating him I doubt he will even notice you're there." Lily smiles at me. Claude is a very observant person he wouldn't be that distracted by people coming up to congratulate him.

"Your Highness."

Lily and I both turn to Felix who was walking towards us. Lily slightly blushed at Felix who dressed in official knight uniform. "It's time to go." Felix smiles offering his hand.

This doesn't seem like such a good idea. What if Claude humiliates me in front everyone for disrespecting him?

"It is alright. Trust us, okay?" Felix says. "Please." Lily adds brushing her fingers along my cheek and be behind my ear then tracing down my jawline to my chin lifting my head up.

"You are our Princess. You are the light of many of our lives here and make us so proud. Now be as proud of yourself as we are." Lily smiles at me. She is sweet like honey.

I close my eyes taking a deep breath then exhale, opening my eyes and holding my head high before I place my hand in Felix's.

"I'll be back soon, Lily." I smile at her as I stand up. "Have a wonderful time."

Felix and I then walked away heading to where the ball shall be held.

"Felix."

"Yes, Your Highness?"

"Lily's mine, so don't try to take her from me okay?" I smiled teasing Felix.

"Ah! I-I! Princess! I wouldnt dare! Not because I don't like her! She is beautiful! B-But I would take her from y-you!" Felix stuttered completely dumbfounded and lost in words.
I began laughing at the blushing tomato Felix. "I'm kidding but you have to ask for my blessing, of course still." I smile at him.

"R-Really?" Felix looked at me wide eyed. "Then can I have your blessing to take Lillian York out?" Felix asks me with a serious face waiting for my answer. Really? Right now? It's my turn to be dumbfounded now. Felix turns away from me suddenly. "Ah, I understand. This must be my punishment?" Felix sulks looking at the ground.

"No, no, no. You just caught me off guard! You most defiantly have my blessing." I quickly tell him. Ah, he looked so sad!

"Really?!" Felix beams suddenly. "Oh! Thank you, thank you thank you, Princess! You really are too gracious!" Felix praises me beaming with happiness. They will be such a wonderful couple.

"Calm down, Felix. We're here" I grip onto his hand tighter. There are so many people here. Maybe Claude won't see as long as I make sure to blend in with the crowd. "I'll be next to His Majesty but I'll keep an eye on you the whole time okay?" Felix explains to me. "There are many people here." I state looking at all the people. "They wouldn't dare to do anything ill to you. You're a princess of this empire." Felix encourages.
