Prologue

"Please, save my baby."

I thought I could hear my mother's voice. Gusto kong gumalaw pero ang bigat ng pakiramdam ko. Parang may gumagapos sa akin.

"We'll do our best."

Pagkasabi 'nong unknown person, pumasok kami sa isang, umm, hospital? Bakit ako nandito at bakit hindi ako makagalaw? What's happening?

"What happened?"

I tried opening my eyes but it was hard.

"There was a drunk driver at biglang bumangga sa kanila. Luckily the mother is alive but her daughter is seriously injured."

Huh? Ganon pala ang nangyari? Gusto kong maalala pero sumasakit lang ang ulo ko.

I felt like someone is carrying me and hurriedly put me in a bed. Few minutes later, everything went blank.

I tried opening my shutly closed eyes. Pagkabukas ko, may nakita akong, tao(?) naka itim at lumulutaw(?)

It started walking towards me.

"Nice to meet you. I'm your worst nightmare."

Patay na ba ako?

"I go by the name Death."

Patay na talaga ako.
