Uraraka POV

I'm sitting in the small cafe a short walk away from the UA dorms with Deku and Todoroki. I consider them my two best friends, even though they've been a lot closer since they began dating three months ago, they still manage to make time for me and I love them for it. We're discussing a slightly odd topic- crushes. Considering they're a couple, they're basically just pressing me about who my crush is. They ask me nearly every day. No matter how much I refuse, they never stop grilling me. It's alright though because they're my friends. I don't think I would be as ok with it if it were anyone else. I could never tell them that I like Bakugo Katsuki.
However, today I'm feeling a little too tired to handle their nagging. I didn't get any sleep last night since I was up all night studying for Aizawa's test this morning. I probably failed it anyways. I've never been good with these sorts of things. I'm really not all that good at anything when I come to think of it, that is, other than keeping a smile on my face and caring too much sometimes-- I suddenly realize that I have zoned out and completely stopped listening to the two people in front of me. "If we guess who it is will you tell us?" Deku says, anxious to find out. "Maybe," I respond, skeptically. They would never guess that I would like Bakugo, right? It is pretty unlikely for someone like me. It can't hurt to let them try though. I think.
Todoroki gives his first guess. "Is it Kirishima?" he asks.
"Nope,"
"Iida?" Deku tries.
"Wrong again,"
"How about Kaminari?" Todoroki adds, taking a small sip from his coffee.
"Still not right," They kept guessing back and forth, and eventually they ended up naming all of our classmates. Well, all except one. "That's everybody," Deku says with a small sigh.
"Well technically not everyone..." Todoroki remarks, looking up from his drink to meet my eyes.
"N-no I think you did get everyone!" I say, waving my hands in front of my face. I'm trying my best to not seem too suspicious about it, but judging by the look on Todoroki's face, it didn't work very well. "Are you sure about that?" He says cooly, not noticing that I am literally dying of fear at this point. "What about Bakugo, huh, Chako?"
"Come on Shoto, don't be silly," Deku says with a soft chuckle. "You can't be serious."
"Could it be... Bakugo?" Todoroki asks, ignoring Deku's remarks. It must be obvious by now because I feel my face heat up right away. "Nononononononononono!" I yell, waving my hands 10 times harder than before. I'm a bad liar and a blushing mess. Todoroki gives a smug look "Called it,"
"Ugh fine. You can't tell anyone," I say quietly, my head resting on the table in shame.
I look back up to see Deku, a staggered look on his face. Bakugo hates him. Crap- I forgot that.
"There's your man now" Todoroki says, gesturing towards the door. My head whips around and I see him. He looks mad, but isn't he always? He walks toward the front of the cafe and gives his order to the barista. As he turns around to be seat himself after paying, I think he noticed me staring because he suddenly yells "Oi! Round Face! What are you staring at?!"
I jump, falling out of my chair. "N-nothing,"
"Tsk. Dumbass"
"Rude," I mutter to myself.
"The hell did you just say?!" I don't respond. "That's what I thought," He sits at a table nearby and swipes through his phone aggressively.
"Ummm, Ochako?" Deku says, uneasily.
"Yeah?" I say, a little bit concerned.
"I think that guy is staring at you..." I look to the side and see an orange-haired boy sitting alone. We make eye contact. To be honest, he seems sort of sketchy. He smiles awkwardly as he stares back at me.
"It's probably nothing" I say, dismissing the strange look he gave me.
We continue talking and I notice that Bakugo is now looking up, his eyes following every move of the orange haired kid. Suddenly the boy gets up and begins to walk toward me. I start to feel a little unsettled. Once he arrives in front of me, he scratches the back of his neck before shoving his hands into his pockets. There is an awkward silence until he suddenly says "Hi, I noticed you from across the room and I was wondering if you would like to go out with me?". At this point, I'm praying that Deku remembers what I told him to do in these situations.
"Um, sir, she kind of has a boyfriend-," Deku cuts in. Thank god. He knows what to do.
"I don't see him." the boy standing in front of me retorts. Deku goes silent.
I hear a voice from behind the boy "I'm right here, asshole," I hear from the voice.
The orange haired boy stumbles back a bit from surprise and turns to face the person behind him. Its Bakugo, towering over the boy. I finally breathed out, not even noticing that I was holding my breath. The boy gets back up. "Well it doesn't really seem like it, considering how you talked to her earlier," I could tell Bakugo was about to lose it. He raised his fist and was about to punch the boy in the jaw. I jolt up and stand in front of the kid with orange hair. "Bakugo, no" I say, quickly. I really don't want a problem here. "Get out of the way, round face" He says, gritting his teeth. "Stop it," I say, getting frustrated. He slowly lowers his fist and I hear quick footsteps running away from behind me. I turn back and the ginger boy has already scurried away like a mouse.

When I turn back again, Bakugo is walking toward his table and has begun to gather his belongings. I run up to him and snatch his wrist "What the fuck Round Face?!" He screams.
"Thank you for that," I flash a small smile at him.
He grunts and pushes past me to walk out the door. I stand still for a second, slightly annoyed at him for just walking away. I decided to run after him and followed him outside.

Once I had finally caught up with him I was of breath and had only managed to grab him by the back of his black leather jacket. He turns around quickly, his fist raised with a small explosion forming in his palm. "Get the fuck off of me!" He yells out "Oh. It's just you, dumbass. I could have seriously hurt you, you goddamn idiot!" He bursts out.
"But you didn't" I say, glancing at the ground.
"God, you're so dumb." He mutters, causing me to pout and puff out my cheeks.
"Anyways," I continue. "I seriously want to thank you for what you did in there. I just- It doesn't seem like something you would do. So thanks for going out of your way to help me." I said softly, smiling at him
"Whatever, pink cheeks." He grumbles as he turns to walk away. I let go of his wrist and let him leave before entering the coffee shop again. As I open the glass door, I notice Deku and Todoroki looking at me with smug looks on their faces. Great.
