That Day

I know everything

It is on Saturday. The weather is windy yet cloudy now. The greyish cloud try to wrap and tuck into the shiny cloud. I feel this is a good time to have our reunion.

I am wearing red light lipstick on my lips without blush on. This is my usual style even when hang out with my friends. 

"Yeon ru ah!" Yoo ri is here. She waves her hand to give me a sign. Her make up is really complete with pink blush on her face and pink lipstick on her lips. Her thick eyebrow makes it perfect. She still love to wear blue jackets and black high heels when she wants to go date.

When i turn towards her, I discover that she is not alone. A guy walkes out from the red car behind her. He slowly walks to right side of Yoo ri and she hold his left hands. My heart is not likely to beat stably. I walk towards them. His black hair comes on front of his face and cover until above of his eyes. He has wavy bang with short thin hair until above his neck. He is wearing the black shiny blouse and white thin trousers. I do not even blink my eyes abit and stare at him. I am infront of them.

"Yeon ru, let me introduce you. He is my boyfriend. Yoon Soo Ho. You remember him, right? Our high school friend that suddenly missing?" Yoo ri said while looking at me cheerfully.

"Yeah, of course I know. But, how come you two become together?" I just ask Yoo ri without look at Soo Ho at all.

"We meet at US during my art exhibition. Both of us have similarity and we seems to like each other. So we decided to be together." Yoo ri said that while putting her head on his shoulder.

Soo Ho does not say a word. He just look at me, hoping that I will say something to him after years not meeting up.

I do not know how to react to this matter. "Congratulations then to both of you. But I guess I should not be here. It seems like I will disturb your date." I said that to Yoo ri and smile. I take my phone directly and received a call. It is Teacher Yeo.

"Yes? Okay, I will go there directly." I smile to Yoo ri and say, "Yoo ri ah, so sorry. I got call from hospital. I really cant make it today. You two can spend your day together. See you!" I wave my hand to them and left.

I quickly go to park nearby my hospital. I find that Teacher Yeo is sitting on bench near a tree there.

"What happen, ssaem? You said that you have something important to say to me. What is that?" I stand in front of him.

"I just want to ask you one thing. Have you had your lunch?" Teacher Yeo looks  different today. He seems tired and need someone to hold onto.

"Havent. " Teacher Yeo stands and look closely to my face. I am startled.

"Okay. Then lets have lunch together." Teacher Yeo embrace my shoulder. We walk just like sunbae and hoobae together. (Sunbae = senior, hoobae=junior)

We go to chicken restaurant nearby hospital. I never thought that this chicken is really nice. Spicy with maekju.

"Woahh.. our hoobae really good at eating spicy food. I do not know that."
Teacher Yeo gives me more chicken.

"Yeah, but this is nothing to me. I can eat more (spicy) than this." I pour extra monster sauce to my chicken. I do not know that I am really craving for spiciness.

"Hoobae, you should eat more. You look really thin and not healthy." He offers me more chicken of him.

I put back the chicken to his plate. "No, ssaem, you should eat more. Look at yourself. You look like a tree lack nutrients."

"Hahhahahahahha.. If I look like a tree, then you look like a frog. Lack nutrients, frog." Teacher Yeo burst out.

"Ssaemmm!." My face shrivel and feel annoyed of him.

Today we eat while laughing. This is the first time we eat together and spend time to talk to each other. After we done our lunch, we go to park near chicken restaurant. There, we sit on the swing.

"Hoobae. Why do you look sad just now?" Ssaem Yeo ask while giving me a can of cola that he brought from the restaurant just now.

I take the cola and have a sip. "Nothing. I just have weird feeling."

"Just tell me. I can be your chatting friends. Plus, we are colleague after all." Ssaem sounds so wise that makes me want to tell him.

"Actually I have someone I like during high school. He is a guy that really care to me. I feel he same as me. Just he never confess it. But one day he disappear. Even after he comes back, I feel complicated. He seems to have someone to take care for now." I stop my story there and continue drinking my cola.

Ssaem Yeo just drink his cola and said, "So you decide to hide your feelings?"

"Sounds like that. Because I also dont know if I still have that feeling after few years apart. But even if I have it, I will not try to have it. Because I do not want to own it" I just tell him everything. After all, he wont know who he is.

"You sound really wise. I have such a good hoobae. I really proud of you. Anyway, you have done a good job. But, never regret your decision. Late to take the next step will only make you regret your whole life. Lets go" Ssaem Yeo stands.

"How about you, ssaem? What makes you look so sad and tired just now?" I ask ssaem while stopping his step.

"Sounds same like yours. But my situation is that I will never hide my feelings." He walks towards me and stare at me deeply. "From now on, call me sunbae." 

"Okay, sssunbae." Sounds so weird. But, whatever he want.

Yeo sunbae just embrace my shoulder like usual and we walk together. Suddenly, someone appear in front of us. He is Soo Ho. His forehead frown and both of his greyish eyes look at us seriously. He walks toward us and split us apart.

"Hey, Song Yeon Ru. What are you doing?" Yoon Soo Ho hold my left hand right away, but Yeo Sunbae stops him.
