By morning, the city woke up with foggy weather, coming from the cold ocean of Namerick. But as soon as it came, the sun drove it away to give his energy to all of the beautiful flowers outside of town.
The group had slept in the same room, but Katherine was so pissed off with the two because Melissa didn't sleep with her after a long time. After a brief discussion that ended in almost them destroying the room after she found out that she slept with him, Melissa managed to drag them out to have breakfast on that gorgeous hotel plaza with the ocean view.
"So, Liz. Did you think about what we talked yesterday?" – Said Mello, taking one of the apples from the table's basket.
"Hm... I talked with Kat yesterday about it, but we're both still confused about the Dragon stuff." – Spoke the girl.
"Yeah. I mean... Dragons and monsters...?" – Katherine had a scorn look on her face.
"I know that you have a lot of questions, sweetie. You know what I'm thinking? That we both need to take a walk together. We can talk about magic while you think." – Melissa stood and came up to Lizzie, reaching out her hand to the girl. – "What do you say?"
"Alright." – Lizzie also stood up.
"What about you two?"
"Hm... I guess *munch* I'll snoop around somewhere *munch*" – He finished eating the last of the six apples on the basket.
"Me too." – Said Katherine.
"Okay, then. I'll see you later. C'mon, Liz."
Melissa and Lizzie went out of the hotel and walked through the city, towards the beach. During the trip, Melissa tried telling Lizzie about how she started to study magic and things that she had doing on her training sessions. I said "trying" because Lizzie asked questions nonstop about her past, her brother, the Dragons, etc. When she couldn't bear it anymore, and a vein almost popped out of her forehead, she finally stopped and said the following:
"Liz, let's make a deal, shall we? I'll train magic with you during some time. At the end of each training day, I'll answer any of your questions. But only one a day. Okay?"
Finally, what Lizzie wanted the most! A powerful sorceress to advise her magic training... But... Wait a moment...
"How much time, exactly?"
"One week."
"Just one week? But-"
Melissa silenced Lizzie with her pointing finger on the girl's lips, giving her a piercing and cold look that made even her spine freeze.
"One. Week. Okay?" – Melissa had a gentle but terrifying smile on her face.
"O-okay... But how will this training be?"
"Hm... I dunno. But I liked the title 'The Marvelous Mel's Training Week'. Don't you?"
And there we go. One more person for the "Crazy people that I've met on my journey" list made by Lizzie.
- Day 1 -
Melissa took Lizzie to a faraway place, outside of the big beach of Ventus, on a small flat island made out of rocks.
"This is a good place to practice magic. No one will notice us here. So, what do you know about magic?" – Asked Melissa.
"Is this a lecture?" – Lizzie was bored already.
"C'mon, don't be like that."
"...I know that it is an elemental materialization of the magical energy that we have on our bodies."
