Fire From Ice
by sloanranger
I thought all along t'was your plan,
a metaphor to take me in hand.
I resisted at first,
but became immersed,
and I admit, it made me feel grand.
But you don't have to be a sage,
or the avatar of an age;
a literal truth,
this thing - you can do,
just follow these simple stages.
Form a lens with your hands from the ice,
magnify sun, so precise;
not a big production,
you'll soon have combustion:
that's how you make fire from ice.
