I'd heard Brit men were reserved;
that opinion, I must conserve.
My bloke is quite smashing,
a Captain of passion,
reputation is quite undeserved.
So, I believe I shall have to refute,
'cause when our unions are through -
his work so excels
I'm quite overwhelmed -
and feel I should stand and salute.
